Not sure we will ever play N brown Tarrant Maxwell and Reid or Goldsack together when most teams struggle to have 1 tall up front let alone 4 or 5 Unless you delevop one of them in to a second ruck.
Tarrant has the ability to play on guys like Milne, LeCras and S.Johnson.

Maxwell and Reid both read the play extremely well so they can play off an opponent, and Reid provides tremendous rebound.

Brown, if back to his GF best, will take the main KPF and the rest can shuffle between themselves.

I don't think Didak well regain his fitness from this lay off. I have heard its a lot more serious than the club is letting on.If its not 6-8 he will be back by round 1 considering its 50 days away but i highly doubt he will be and the rumours are true.
Where have you heard this?

At the club the other day and opposite was mentioned.

I have NEVER seen Tarrant play on Miline EVER. Harry O is his usual match up. I can't remember who gets Lecras is it Harry? or BJ? How did Tarrant go against Steve Johnson in the 2011 gf? THAT was a mistake! He should have played on Hawkins!
I'd be very surprised if those 5 talls i mentioned play in the same team at any point during the home and away season. Its too many at once!
We will wait and see on Didak but Ox said he tore it off the bone. If that isn't true he will be back for round 1 given its 50 days away.

Tarrant played on Milne when he was at the Dockers. He's generally played on mediums/talls at the Pies but he is a flexible player who has the pace to keep up with smaller players.

I wouldn't take anything Ox says as fact either.

So Tarrant played on Milne at the Dockers... i think youre just making up B.S now for the sake of the argument. Why wouldn't you take what Ox said seriously? You know him well or? Im pretty sure he would know more than most considering he is in the media and would have the inside word on most footy related issues, its not like he is just a talk back caller that talks crap!

I know what you're saying, and history has shown that the club do seem to be a bit optimistic about injuries.

I wonder why they do this? Why wouldn't they simply come out say "Look, Dids is a senior player and it's important to us for him to get his body right. We want him to be available mid season to make an impact, anything sooner is a bonus."

Look, the way they've reported it (3-4 weeks) may be fact. But they've cried wolf so many times before about injury outages that I've become a bit cynical.

Come on mate stop being such a negative Nancy! It's only feb 10 and you're discussing players as if their season's done n dusted....

Taz's speed has always been his greatest weapon and he hasn't lost any of it. So until he does IMO he's more than capable of playing on smalls, mediums and talls.

FWIW he also spent time on Milne in the first match last year because he didn't really have a match up for the majority of the match with Kosi not playing and Reid taking Reiwoldt.

Go on the Dockers board and ask them if you don't believe it. I'm not into causing arguments.

As for Ox he has many times come out with "inside information" or had thoughts about the game and been shown up as wrong. SEN is a rumour mill, especially when news is slow.

When has he ever come out with something that is wrong? give me one example and don't just make something up!
If Didak is back in round 1 I'll believe it then but for now i have no reason not to believe what he said.

Exactly! If you pull your adductor youre not going to be back in 3-4 considering it effects running and kicking penetration and if its off the bone there is no way he will recover from it fully in 2012.

Tarrant has definitely played on Milne when he was at the Dockers. I saw the match in question on my TV, which was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

Sorry, never had the chance to use that phrase in a post before so I took the opportunity.

OK, somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think if you go back and have a good look, Collingwood did not actually have such a great run with injury and lost games in 2010 as some here suggest.

In fact, I'd go as far as to say that it was the forced inclusion of some young talent during the year that made such a big difference to our fortunes. The reality is that we haven't had a fit Dids for over a year and whilst I personally like Johnno, I am far from believing that he's irreplaceable.
