They wont be able to get Humphrey is my guess. They arent going to push anyone out of enough value for GC to entertain it. If Humphrey is desperate to get out he might have more luck with Melbourne.

Fancy thinking 3 firsts and 4 2nds isn't enough of a draft hand does he not realise you could turn 2 of those 2nd rounders into a first round pick? Why does he think we stockpiled those 2nd rounders in the 1st place. There's a method to the madness at play.

Convincing him to go is a different story but that's what we would be looking at in terms of making some big plays. We intend to play either Merrett or Humphrey across half forward/Midfield which is a role that Moore currently plays in. It would be seen as at worst a direct swap but potentially an upgrade. Merrett could play half forward quite comfortably. Lewis could end up leaving too which facilitates the King trade also. We have offered Lewis 4 years but I reckon we haven't offered more than that because of the new developments with King. Gunston has 18 months left in he's career. If people are wondering how we fit all the key forwards into the team in 3028 it could feasibly look like King, Dear and Chol.
