Solid debut. Clone of Gumbleton in the way he moves and plays. Good hands and knows where to lead - will be a quality forward :thumbsu:

Will develop into a left footed version of rewoildt I reckon. Looks to have a huge engine. Good safe hands, reads the play incredibly well and a bit of a dodgy kick(just like rewoildt) . Will be a very good player

Just got read out on SEN, good work lol

Yes all of the above, but F@#K does this bloke need to learn how to kick. Absolute disgrace for AFL standard to kick like that. (He was not alone tonight)

Let's get rid of Brian Taylor- what value has he brought to the club this year with reference to kicking ability.

His kicking got better as the night went on. They will make use of all those coaches and straighten the boy up.

Looks very versatile. Would not be surprised to see this boy play alot of footy in the midfield and off a wing due to future forward options in Cloke, Rusling and Dawes.

Reid is definately the most versatile of these players.

Reid's kicking at VFL level is a fair bit better then it has been at AFL level, Don't insult him by comparing him to Gumbleton. Ried has a huge tank, is really good at ground level and reads the play very well. Excited about this kid

What's wrong with Gumbleton? He's a huge talent IMO.

Nothing wrong with Gumbleton along with monfries is one of a select few essendon youngsters that are actually exciting, that said i think Reid has a few more strings to his bow

The future updated Rocca model INc.

Accurate left foot (let him settle)
Massive Engine
Super Fast
Great Hands
Great Verticle
Top ground level work

The new model comes without multiple options, wing, FF, HF on ball and key back.

Reid will be fine, he just hasn't made the mental leap to the mindset that he belongs there yet.

He does and he will.

Riewoldt is a far way off from the player he will be, in my view personally. I'd like to call him a 'vanilla' version of Lance Franklin, he is a similar build, similar smooth moving types. Reid isn't as much a freak as Franklin, but Reid is more a traditional key position player than Franklin .

What miracle would you have expected from Taylor considering he has been there for around 4 months?

He has certainly improved Clokes kicking for goal.
