Report shows improvement though, not regression. If there is any doubt, we just put him on the LTI and pick up a MSD spot.
Like we did with Clarke and gibcus last year?

Haven’t followed the details closely but it seems to me we have a high rate of foot and soft tissue injuries and our fitness staff have spent considerable time training our players to run differently. Cause and effect right there I’d say
Much more likely to be the ground they are training on. Long hot summer hard ground. You think that a 10 minutes session teaching players sprint training techniques are something they are carrying when they are running around chasing a football or the general slog of preseason running.

They also their own running in the off season away from the club, some on the road, hard grounds near their homes etc. You get stress fractures from too much running on hard surfaces, hence players of yesteryear never had it because the grounds were bogs half the time and the players got a longer rest period in the off season.

The ground has been prepared the same way for the last 12 years. On a continuum between soft and hard it's closer to soft than hard. It ain't the ground - it could be the extra stuff you mentioned. Or it may be due to a drastic increase in young bodies not yet conditioned to be elite athletes. Anyone who thinks it can be done in 1-2 off-seasons is off the mark. Improve yes, be the same as what they'll be aafter 6 of them - unlikely.

I’m sure Serpell and his team are already working on a plan to get them back playing in no time

I agree it can't be the ground. If it was then our vfl team and our aflw teams would cop a similar rate and severity of injury speed.

Interesting though, the so-called report in the media saying players have complained about the ground. Any truth to that would be known, wouldn’t it? If not it should.

Why can’t we have multiple guys?

Maybe 1 for the above 25 year olds and 1 for under 25 year olds 🤷‍♂️
Just a usual Saturday night question for you right?
