For those thinking that it's just a Richmond issue with top 30 talent missing games.

In 2021 it was 147, in 2022 it was 251, in 2023 it was 379 and in 2024 it was 447 games and by mid 2025 383 games had been lost to injury among top 30 talent.

Which clearly indicates that its a league wide issue, not just our club, what makes it seem so bad is that we've got so many top 30 talents injured at the same time in part because we need to play them more often than not due to our list being skewed towards youth.

Whereas you look at a side like Geelong or Collingwood with a lot of older guys on their lists and they can sit young kids in the VFL for a couple of years and allow them to develop.
