Goorambat favourites today although I think if Doon can get physical on the smaller bodies of their Goorambat opponents and Fritsch fires they might be in with a show. But i see Doon's 3rd game in a row on the big ground being their biggest downfall, Goorambat too have to much run. Doxey to just fall short of his 100th goal. Bats by 41 points
 
Great game yesterday... Doon to get in front during the last quarter had all the Goorambat supporters sh*ting themselves. Was only won in the last ten, with the batters putting on a goal fest. Tim Walker got BOG. He did kick a few crutical goals when it counted.

Have heard some interested in coaching and/or playing out there but from all reports no-one willing to be President, Secretary or any committee.

Can't get a team/club running without people doing the grunt work behind the scenes.

so we could say its going to be anouther shit year with 5 teams in the comp again then!
mind you it must be goot to play each other 4 time for the h&a with anouther chance to play twice more in the finals.

Bonnie Doon - Wellwood to coach again though not actually coaching at all. The Tanners to keep the monopoly at the place with no water!
Devenish - God himself wont be able to reincarnate this lost cause.
Goorambat - Burnell to make it 3 in a row as players like Brown, Doxey and Nolan not prepared to have a go in a real league.
Longwood - Redfern to be shown the door with Finch to take the reins.
Swanpool - To fold.
Tatong - Moss to stand down with Vallender to take control of the Bali nine.
3rd to be introduced as an 11 aside game to give clubs a chance to run the kids into the ground and burn them out.

Not sure where you heard that Swanpool will fold. With over 120 people turning up to the presentation night and a lot of good young players this isn't going to happen.

Tell the good young players to go play some good football in Benalla (then youl know if their any good) and come back out after they've had a go.

This is basically the whole reason the BDFL is still in existance (and should remain). Most players just play in the league for the love of the game and not to play at the best level they can. They just enoy getting a kick and playing with mates. There are a number of players that could posibly do fairly well in other leagues, but thats not what they play for. But the VCFL don't seem to get it.

not good enough to play gv?the only reason he wouldnt get a game at benalla is because he doesnt have the pretty bleached hair,the surname and the brain dead mentality.trav is a gun and the reason he plays for the bats is because he has a love for his club.not the money moosha you brain dead w...ker
 
There are 3 or 4 players in the league that could go and play GV footy. I have played footy in different leagues and ay different levels. Most people playing B&D footy are under no illusion that they are playing bush footy. As far as money in footy goes Moosha don't think it has done the game any favours but is now a part of the way things are done. If you don't move with it you will be left behind.
