I dont know the name. I told you everything I know.

They beat us with 9 points to spare and were full strength I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). Points isnt a problem.

I do question how state league players are only 3 points though.
What state league players are 3 points?

Ahhh if true the south points and salary cap circus continues. Must be a lot of blokes who really really love the club and playing for a pie and can of coke each week.

I just googled the AFLV CCSP Player Points State Comp rules and for 5 PPts - 5 games in SANFL, VFL or WAFL. For 4 PPts - 5 games TSL (Tas) or Coates League). The QAFL isnt listed as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 comp, so would that be why they are only 3 pointers?

Spot on. QAFL not recognised in points system document so transfer as a 3 point player unless they trigger other clauses like Coates League games etc

Morning all BFL supporters
Spideylegs from Murch here

Finally getting to get across to Strathfieldsaye today to watch the storm and bloods . My nephew tells me 4 from qld are flying down for bloods- talented to , I can’t wait
. Quick lunch stop with family on the way

Will give my thoughts tonight , but I’m keen to see Bendigo showcasing there talent

Have a very safe Easter and no meat today remember . Ha ha
Cheers - spider

How did james frawley play today for south

Caught Gisborne v Flat today, taking nothing away from Gisborne who were extremely clinical and certainly cashed in on their hard work … I actually felt the margin didn’t reflect the visitors effort or blocks of time they actually hung in and were competitive.

Very good win today by strath was good to watch. Keighan is a star and they will be hoping he plays plenty more games from him this year. Seems like the same old K/Flat again this year. Promise plenty through pre season and fail at the first hurdle again

Yet players that come from the Riddell league are valued at 4 points. How that comp is classed as a premier league is beyond me.

Strath v South game was unreal! Good crowd great contest really a good day out. If that’s what the BFNL has to offer in 2026 then I think we are in for an exciting year. Makes me excited for tomorrow between Sandhurst v Eaglehawk.

Maine beating Square without Derksen, Landt and Bauer is a nice little side story too. Maine should be competitive and I would love to see them stay healthy and break the finals drought. Square have issues.

Very poorly run by the BFL today they ran out of programmes at the start of the under 18s usually they have plenty

Any scores? I was at GVFL and my Play AFL wouldn't display any live scores from Bendigo.

Crowd was big at Tannery lane, big at Eaglehawk and I'm told big at Maine so may be fair that they ran out of records if heaps more people attended
Mine didn't make it home from Gardiner Reserve, so if you're in Gizzy, there might be one floating on the ground somewhere.
I was keen for a read of it last night, but a bit disappointed when I realised it wasn't in my bag any longer.

excellent game yesterday, both sides matched up quite well on each other. Burra seemed to get a bit lost going forward all day and ended up overusing it on half foward which cost them quite a few chances, whereas Sandhurst were a lot more efficient and used their forward opportunities better. Sandhurst kicked away in the last quarter with the wind but was a very even contest up to that point
