Another f*&^&^ng loss by under a goal

The short and sweet version.
Jolley good.
Carts good.
Firman ok.
Lonergan not as good today.
Dempsey good.
Lucy good.
Cole good, didnt get a lot of the footy , played on Rusling and kept him very quiet.

All in all the side isnt doing too badly considering how undermaned they are. The seconds lost by around 100 which was a 120 point improvement on the last time we played them lol

How did you see Cole? Is he finally up for a game??

Also with demsey back from injury thats a good signs that his one of our best today.

I think he is as ready as he will ever be .

he's still too heavy.

Im not saying he's fat but for him to play his best footy he needs to be a few kilo's lighter. That trademark speed and agility he displayed for the eastern rangers and early days at the Pies is what makes him a decent footballer. Without that pace he's very average.

A Jobe watson-like makeover next pre-season would do nicely.

Anyone read about Cupido's advice to Cole? He also made mention he'd return to us if we wanted him. 42 goals in the SANFL so far...pretty good comeback by the runt.

I think Dempsey has the potential to be a very special player, he just looks so good when he gets thew ball and runs with it. That game vs Tasmania was just great he got the ball and broke away from it with his speed. IMO he has the potential to be our best youngster.

Cole isnt heavy, fat, overweight, tubby, chubby, bulbous, obese- Longy 413 has been praising his superb physical fitness all year.:D
I better stop talking I thought Jobe Watson was incapable of playing consistent footy. Jolley is a class above most players in the 2's now though with our inclusions this week he could only get a game if we dropped a Bolton, Peverill or Camporeale. Most unlikely.

Actually, all I did was comment that he had lost weight and was working pretty damn hard.

Don't think I ever pretended he didn't still have a way to go.

Sorry Longy I couldnt resist putting that in. I saw Cole in February and was disgusted by his physical condition. He was clearly three figures which you didnt agree with. Watching him today pretty closely he has obviously put in the hard yards but has a fair bit to go. I would have prefered to have kept the pick and use it on Swallow or a Matt White but the trade was a fate accompli.

I wasn't overly happy with the trade either.
Don't think much of Swallow though.

And I'm not sure I ever defended his physical condition, I just stated that he had lost weight. He was in a lot worse shape last October than he is now, or Feb for that matter.

His condition was certainly ordinary. Swallow is a player that i have liked for a couple of years but is probably not the type of ob we need. matt white was another who i liked more than most because of his outstanding athleticism- though like stanton his kicking needs a lot of work.

Speaking to a few Kangas supporters who all agree that Blake Grima has been pretty stiff not to be playing often. He's said to have some real 'bite' about his game. Something we could use I guess.
Ive often likened the two as similar types of players. (Cole being the other of course)
