Good to see Laycock playing well, although so did Bellchambers by the looks of it. Maybe having a bit of pressure on Laycock for that second ruck position will be good.

I hope Knighta brings Bellchambers in this week, deserves a go after a 3 goal match and he'll be up against the Crow's ruckmen who are kids themselves, so will be a good time to introduce the kid to AFL footy while his confidence is relatively high...

I thought Bellchambers was better than Laycock today.Big Tom was a much better forward target and looked to be working harder. Laycock was ok but given his experience i thought he could have done more.
Pears got taken to the cleaners by Polak.
Bendigo really got burnt by the lack of pace their small men have. I see that Coghlan was named in the best but he is one of the big problems Bendigo have. He jogs around everywhere. He can not find a man when the ball is going the other way. Most would have heard of the movie "The Running man" well young Johnny stars in his own version called the "Jogging Man".
Rama wasn't too bad.
Mal had his hands full at times when the footy came flying at at high speed.
Magin didnt do much this week.
Atkinson was very quiet.
Williams was ordinary.

Pretty good effort by Bendigo considering the players Coburg had in their side. Were right in it for almost 3 qtrs.

As ant555 said Pears played all 4 qtrs on Polak and just didnt have the pace to go with him, looked pretty dejected in the 2nd half and looks as though the coaching staff have shattered his confidence.

Mal played on Cleve Hughes for most of it and didnt give him much respect, played 10m of him and didnt look too interested in the match, just did what he had to.

Rama started well but then got tagged by Jackson and faded a bit ended up down back.

Laycock and Bellchambers rotated from ruck to FF. Laycock took a couple of good grabs down forward but only really won some decent hitouts when Cartledge was off the ground, got outbodied a bit too easily . Agree with ant555 Bellchambers was better, much more competitve in the ruck.

Atkinson went on a couple of runs but struggled to beat his opponent for most of the day.

Hooker and Williams did nothing special.

Skipworth was pretty good again. Got tagged by Jackson at the start and when Rama was off the ball and still had an impact.

No JJ, Pev (still injured?) or Dick.

Woot. I'll just walk down there and watch it! My home suburb vs the team I go for. :D

Starts at 1? How much does it cost to get in? Despite the ground being a 5 minute walk I've never gone to a VFL game there, just cricket games.

Might be only 3 kicks but let's throw him in

I would rather not risk Bellchambers and I'll be dead honest here I'd rather give Ryder 6 weeks as a ruckman before I bring in either Bellchambers or Laycock. We'll come 2nd or 3rd last regardless so why not try Ryder and find out whether he can cut it as a ruckman.

Did you not see how Ryder looked lost and had no effect in the middle? Keep him at CHB for the rest of the season and don't move him, unless we are getting belted and Knights might try him forward
