Best 22?

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

Team that played last week was pretty bloody close. Bring Richo into that team and take out Edwards/McGuane or Hughes and that's probably it. Cogs may fit back into it in a latter stage

Hi, I am in a trade game, and was wondering what your best 22 was.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since we don't have many injuries, if Richo, as expected, is named, can i guys go out on a limb and suggest the team announced very soon for this week IS our best 22?? We could argue Cogs should be there, but it is a huge unkown how and when and unfortunately, IF, he will make it back.

Edit: see we were on the same wavelength RG!

I wouldn't think the bolded will become elite. It is a word thrown around too much these days. McMahon is probably as good as he will get, as with Tuck. Polak (before the tram) seemed to finally show some good form, but will never be elite, and may struggle to continue his career after his next contract is up. Edwards will, hopefully, become a Byrnes type players that Geelong have.

I doubt that King and Schulz will become more than "handy" players, but will be pleasantly suprised if they prove me wrong.
Simmonds and Johnson should be in a seperate list with Richo Brown and Richo for older players who may well be gone within a year or 3.

And Thursfield will (should) become an "elite" player at FB. Hopefully anyway.

Thats my take anyway :):thumbsu:

You would be safe with a start like this, as most will agree (I would've thought...)

FB: Newman Thursfield ???

HB: McMahon Moore ???

C: Richo Tuck Johnson

HF: Morton ??? Tambling

FF: ??? ??????? Brown

Foll: Simmonds Deledio Foley

Inter: Pattison (Coughlan) ??? ???

The 7 "???" players will come from: Raines, Polak, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Edwards, Bowden, Polo, Meyer, Jackson, Schulz, JON, Hughes, White, McGuane, Connors & King

B King Thursfield Moore

HB McMahon Schulz Newman

C Delidio Tuck Richo

HF Tambling J Riewoldt Cotchin

F N Brown C Hughes Morton

R Simmonds Foley K Johnson

Int from McGuane White Polak Edwards Pattison Hyde Raines Coughlan

Note watch out for West Aussie boy Alex Rance - not far away from being CHB in next few years.

Cotchin can win a Brownlow too me thinks
