Ok i have had a look at the team list. And if i were to play the best team we had against brisbane or port adelaide and we had no injuries this is what my team would look like.

B: Kellaway Gasper Hartigan
HB: Graham Hall Bowden
C: Tivendale Johnson Newman
HF: Brown Simmonds (Leading up wings) Richo (In between FF and CHF)
F: Krakouer Stafford Campbell
Foll: Knobel Coughlan Chaffey (Tag)
Int: Schultz Deledio Tambling Rodan
Emg: Hyde Pettifer Raines

Based on what wallace has said Rd 1 may look something like this

Newman Gaspar Graham
Kellaway Shultz Bowden
Jackson Coughlan Tivendale
Brown Simmonds Richo
Krakour Stafford Campbell
Knob Johnson Chaffey

Int Hyde Hartigan Deledio Tambling

Em Hall Pettifer Rodan

Dont like Chaffey myself and it would nice to see one of the kids step up and take either the tagging or No 1 rover role. I'd actually like to see all of the bench as regular starters. May not be much of a role for Hall with Knobel there as there are losts of talls around ( 8 if you count Kellaway). Solid enough team with plenty of mature bodies - Would hope that the Round 11 team has some of Raines Roach Pattison Polo Gilmour and maybe Meyer ready to go!!

Fair call on Petiifer - could really take off in the backline - - Showed he could be hard at it in the second half of the season. From all reports Tambling is more ready to go than Lids - Nice Bench - good to see potential on the bench rather than Fletcher, Marsh Fleming and Huolihan.

yeah went with lids just coz he was number 1 and couldnt help but put him in there. i all honesty rodan would probly get the nod ahead of both of them come round one, and tambling could just as easily slot in there. being a high draft pick wont guarantee either of them a spot straight up but you would reckon one of them might get a go. i REALLY like petts up back. hope he is slotted in there for the whole year, maybe with the occasional foray up forward.
when you look at that line up we might see a much more competitive outfit than last year. if shulz can stand up at chb we will push most teams.

I think we have two versions of a team available, one which is more likely to win with established players, and one with many kids in development. I think Wallace will want as many victories as possible, so we will end up with 2/3 established players.

Kellaway Hall Hartigan
Graham Gaspar Jackson
Johnson Coughlan Tivendale
Brown Richardson Tambling
Campbell Simmonds Krakouer

Knobel Bowden Rodan (Tag)

Bench: Hyde, Newman, Chaffey, Deledio

I put Rodan in as a Tag because he is apparently strong enough now to get into the Fijian Rugby team, and is quick. I'd hate to get into a tug of war with him over the ball. I only put Tambling in ahead of Deledio just because I'm not sure how much Deledio can play next year due to school. I suspect your Roache's, Raines' and shulz's will play occasionally, replacing out of form experienced players, and Tambling/Deledio if they turn out to be too un-muscled for AFL yet.

Pettifer may also become a regular in defence.

Will be interesting to see where Jackson is played next year, as he could nearly play in any area (ruck excluded) on the footy ground.

I think a wing to start off with - maybe KPP down the track. He reminds me a bit of Francis Bourke ( I know, lets not pressure the kid too much)- very competitive - hard at it - fast - good inside and out - will need to work on his skills a bit but he is positive with the ball and something good usually happens when he gets it - Loved his tussle with O'loughlin in the last game last year - We were getting belted and the ball kept flying in to the Swans forward line and Jackson never conceded an inch - might have just shaded O'loughlin in the end.

I seriously doubt that Meyer will play this year, neither will Polo, they both need to put on too much weight for this year

Meyer wont play next year, but i think Polo will get a couple games.

Looks pretty much spot on.

Id have Jackson and Hartigan starting thou. Pretty tough on Roden not to get a gig in the 22, maybe over Lids however Tambling looks ready to go.

yeah i would probly put rodan on before new draftees at this stage, and would love to slot harrigan and jackson into the 22, always a tough exercise. could put chaffey and tivendale on the bench - would look like this...

B Kellaway Gaspar Pettifer

HB Graham Shulz Bowden

C Jackson Coughlan Johnson

HF Richardson Simmonds Brown

F Campbell Stafford Krakouer

R Knobel Hartigan Newman

I/C Hyde Chaffey Rodan Tivendale

Em Tambling Deledio Hall

Meyer's only about 70kg, he will need plenty of gym time.

Polo seems like the sort of person who could tank up pretty quickly, and i think his body isn't that far off now so he'll probably get a couple of games this year if his form warrants it at Coburg.

Pettifer Gaspar Kellerway
Graham Schulz Bowden
Chaffey Johnson Tivendale
Krakoure Simmonds Richo
Campbell Stafford Brown
Knobel Newman Rodan

Deledio, Tambling, Hartigan, Hyde/ Hall/Morrison depending on who we play

Stafford and Brown to play out of the goalsqaure, campbell floating in the 50 and simmonds up in the center, richo out at the 50 and beyond, and the krakoure on the 50 going for the inside 50 crumbs , i hope they leave the foward line open and just get stafford 1 out hes pretty huge hes slow but hed bring it to ground and krak and brown can make somthen happen

All those teams have 4 of Gaspar, Graham, Hall, Kellaway and Schultz in the backline. Could also throw Moore into that mix. But I don't think we'd be going in with 4 of those big blokes in the backline at once very often. Bowden can also play tallish. I think we'd be more likely to go for 2 or 3 of the big blokes plus maybe Bowden and 2 or 3 speedy types down back.

Good thing is we do have those types :)

Jackson, Hartigan, Newman, Pettifer etc.

Pettifer Gasper Hartigan
Moore Shultz Bowden
Newman Coughlan Jackson
Brown Simmonds Richardson
Krakouer Stafford Campbell
Knobel Johnson Chaffey (Tag)
Bench Tambling Deledio Rodan Graham
Emergency Roach Kellaway Raines

I find it concerning when fans can't spell the names of our players
Its more concerning when its one of our star players
Its seriously worrying when the person who spelt the name incorrectly uses the same name for an internet forum, spelt correctly none the less.

Not a bad side at all there coughlan.

But i think terry wallace would want more run out of the backline. It seems a bit tall for me. Maybe change Moore with Hartigan so that we can get more run from half back. Cant beleive he isnt even in ur best 25. Thats shocking!
