5 is a number worn by a lot of star players. Which is the CURRENT best player of all?

Mate, there are up to a dozen midfielders outperforming Judd at the moment - and three of them happen to wear #5. I honestly don't think anyone could seriously debate otherwise.

I'd actually love to see someone justify WHY Judd should be rated ahead of the three I mentioned.

Question was "Who is the best no 5?". You dont need to add your own qualifications re "at the momment". Judds the only answer.

I didn't add any qualification - if I thought Judd had a down week this week or last, but would be better than the rest next week I would have put him at number one.

Who is the best #5? The one I think is performing best now, and will continue to perform going forward - Judd is neither of these and I voted accordingly. If you want to go career, than change the poll options and I'll go Hird.

As for keyboard warrior, I have a rather long history of pointing out and criticising the brainless, pack mentality on BF - to my detriment from a community perspective I might add, and Kong actually knows who I am in the 'real' world - so not exactly true is it?

As in, Judd's last 2-3 years have been far above Stanton's.

I think thats where we are getting wires crossed - I immediately took it as, who IS the best (ie current day/performance); where you went the who HAS BEEN the best (historically/achievements).

I checked the OP and it isn't really clear - in any case I'd certainly agree that Judd is the best credentialed of the current #5's.
