Sydney definitely. Currently have the best Full Back and best small lockdown defender in the comp. Also have a great mix of rebounding half backs without sacrificing much of their defensive side.

Small lockdown defender = Nick Smith? Or am I blanking on someone else?

Probably something like:

1. Geelong
2. West Coast

------------------

3. Sydney
4. Collingwood
5. Hawthorn
6. St. Kilda
7. Essendon
8. Adelaide

Not too sure about the rest.

Roo, Saad, Siposs, Schneider and Milne
I can see Kosi and Roo being pretty well held by your key defenders but I think our mediums/smalls will cause some trouble
Schneids never plays that well against us (he gets too emotional;)), but I think you're right in Saad and Siposs. Big forwards have by and large failed against us this year, but it's the smaller, sneaky ones we have to watch. Smith will get Milne again, maybe Shaw on Siposs or Saad.

Watch out for our little forwards/mids - and our big ones as well!

I like Talia as a lockdown defender. Seems to have a knack of keeping A-list forwards goalless.

Lately it has all been about Ted and Reg's excellent adventures.

Throw terrific drive from the reborn Rhys Shaw, now at a decent club...plus noone yet able to pick which foot Marty kicks best off, throw in Nick (WhoTF is he?) Smith and the iron clad dependability of Alex Johnson... and u have the current #1 defence.

Every week we hear how they wont hold up...but there's no better unit going around at the moment.

As someone already mentioned, its not as tho Malceski wouldnt be in a starting 18 at most clubs right now...just hard for him to secure a slot off HB right now. Probably a good thing to be happening...they're healthy and a stable lineup each week...makes a massive difference to any lineup.

I wasn't aware he'd returned to Collingwood. Awaiting the press announcement! :p

Seriously though, I don't know how you can argue against the stats on this one. Sydney very clearly! Had a good laugh at the suggestion of Hawthorn but improves if Clangermaker moves forward.

My top 5 defenses = back 6 + midfield defensive pressure without looking at stats

Sydney
Hawks
Fremantle
Brisbane
Carlton

Im sure Collingwood is thereabouts but i dont follow them enough to comment.
