Best cable supplier

Is it big pond? or someome else?
Last bill from oprus is 35 for net 40 for linerental 84 for connections,due to new number dropping out so much
I can't justufy keeping this sh*t service so what's the consensus big pond or someone else?

I use Netspace. Very reliable service, but the rpices are a bit higher than big pond I think. Check out the website for price details.

I've been using Westnet, who I believe will do Australia wide now not just WA. I've had one outage since March, and that was due to a thunderstorm/blackout. Since I run a 24/7 connection that's not too bad at all.

Optus Cable I think is the best by quality. My mate has BigPond and there is a site where you can download demos and trailers etc and it doesnt go on what you have used. That seems fairly good.

I have had Optus Cable for... 8 months I think it is now. I have not had 1 problem with it. Not one. Very good service.

Last thing. Telstras help line is absolutely ****. They take ****ing ages just so you get a real person on the end of the line. Optus is quicker but you wont need help because of the quality

was with bigpond it became too expensive and ltd downloads also got fed up with telstra taking there time to put cables back up when they come down

go with adsl more competition out there and am getting double the download limit than i did with bigpond, most adsl providers dont offer additional cost per meg after your download limit is reached, plus they have the back up dial up connections if anything goes wrong

im also with netspace would definitely check out and compare there prices. if you are a download freak you can buy extra blocks of download per month rather than pay extra by the meg.

i go through Westnet for ADSL for the last 6 months and have had NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. Fast speeds, quick downloads, good net speed, its great

Anyone who willingly signs up on either the 3GB download capped Telstra or Optarse Cable needs medical help and shouldn't be allowed near a PC

Whilst Whirlpool.net.au is merely a site full of speculation about certain providiers, you might get some decent information out of the forums and general articles.

I recommend venturing over, especially into the forum section, when selecting a broadband ISP.

I started with Bigpond cable 1gig per month package, but it just didnt last me. so I signed up for the 3gig per month deal and it Costs 80 something per month, But installation was something like 240 dollars..

I haven't had any problems with my cable, it's great for online gaming
