Home and away frees ladder from 2025hahahahaha
Collingwood are looked after by the umps more than most, don't come on here pretending to be hard done by!
Might just help for Big Maso to worry aqbout marking it first, before thinking about which 5ft8 mid hes going to puff his chest out too
You'd have to be pretty decent to make an NBL team. Do we know if Pendles has even played basketball before?Maybe he could play NBL during the offseason for a second income.
If Mason Cox ends up at Geelong, we should run a sweep around how long it takes Bailey Smith to post on Instagram about how much he loves big Cox.Chris Scott looking to give Mason Cox another chance!

hahahaha indeed. Even more hilarious that Brisbane and Carlton supporter liked your post.
Very funny watching Oliver tee off on Tom Morris and Mitch Cleary now that he’s outside the Melbourne footy bubble. Equally funny watching other media types circle the wagons when one of them comes under fire.

Never trust aSounds like Pendles is going to need to play another couple of years for make up for Jason's sticky fingers.
Never tried it to be honest.Gold, again. Sums up the beard wank.
looks like Clarry has already entered his final form as a fully blown junkie

stupidity...AFL pulled 6 mill in funding to the WAFC and redirected it to the AFLW in W.A. WAFC have made 9 people redundant and 20 casuals let go also
Lack of talent could be an issue. I’ve noticed the buzz around girls football at community level has dropped off in the last few years. It got really big for a while and lots of girls were taking it up but now it seems like it’s taking a step backwardsstupidity...
Money won't make AFLW better, only time will, with girls coming through who have played footy their whole lives rather than older girls crossing from other codes with limited football ability
on the other hand, with a 19th team coming in, and my guess would be a 20th at some stage, the lack of talent to fill 19/20 full AFL lists is already been called out, yet we take funding away from grass roots footy which is where all this talent is supposed to be coming from.
Same goes for the NGA stuff, the concept is great, but the amount of money poured in for the limited amount of kids that actually get put on an AFL list is incredible. Just start pumping money into grass roots kids irrelevant of background and the game will all round be better for the good

Wrong, Need to pour money into it and have a proper management structureCampaigners should be dropping AFLW its a money black hole.
money wont make it a better product, its a simple reality!Wrong, Need to pour money into it and have a proper management structure
Not a swimmer leading them
Core product is football is it not?money wont make it a better product, its a simple reality!
and the money pot is not endless, "Pouring" money into it means you are taking money away from your core product, which in business is stupidity!
yes it is, but there are well performed products, and poor performed productsCore product is football is it not?
I used to see these same arguments for Gold Coast and GWSyes it is, but there are well performed products, and poor performed products
pumping money into the poor perfoming products and the expense of your well performed product again is poor business.
In short, AFLW is already a money pit with no financial/profitable returns
Just pumping more money into it, is not going to suddenly change that. It's not going to start bringing in the crowds, the membership numbers, the corporate sponsors, the additional tv viewership and therefor tv rights
So I agree you have to invest in it to some capacity, but at the expense of your high performing product is just stupid, again going back tot he orginal statement that the AFL have redirected funds from WAFC (grass roots footy for both boys and girls for that matter) and put is straight intot he AFLW program!
Especially when the lack of investment in the core high performing product is being negatively impacted.
well they are not the same argumentI used to see these same arguments for Gold Coast and GWS
You came into this arguing money spent on aflw was at the expense of the WAFLwell they are not the same argument
they are expansion of a core and well performed product, who can leverage growth off the back of the existing well performed product
AFLW is an entirely differernt product, so not the same argument at all
The AFL can afford to do both.AFL pulled 6 mill in funding to the WAFC and redirected it to the AFLW in W.A. WAFC have made 9 people redundant and 20 casuals let go also
I have hird something similar.I spoke to a prominent AFL media identity a couple of days ago who told me that Brad Scott, on the Wednesday morning of Trade week(deadline day), rang Essendon’s list manager Rosa and told him to “just get the deal done” as he thought it would be bad for the playing group to have Merrett come back into the fold after stating he was leaving and their response to it, both publicly and internally, and wanted to have less distractions going into the pre-season.
The feeling is that Scott is now sitting there knowing that he has the coterie groups ready to punt him, a captain who desperately wanted out and that it if he can’t contain all the ill feeling and win early games that he’s a dead man walking.
