So, at the start of the year I am sure everyone had a fair idea of who they wanted in their team at the end, it probably went something like:

Brown
Pav
BJ
Volt
Johnson/Chapman
Some 200-300k guy that is a keeper (Didak, Porpz, etc)
Another 200-300k guy that is a keeper (Didak, Porpz, etc)

Or thereabouts.

Now, what does your ideal forward line look like? Will Richo continue to play on the wing and warrant his 420k? Will Franklin continue his good form with a few down days? Will BJ get back to his best?

For me, my forward line will probably end up like this:
Brown
Pav
2 of Franklin/Richo/BJ (maybe BJ and one of Franklin/Richo for $$ considerations)
Johnson
Didak
Porpz

With Tippet on the bench as a permament emergency
Another Rookie (Neagle? that has been traded in to free up a cash cow)

What is everyone else planning?

I still dont think Porpz is a keeper
I don't know if it is worth a trade though. Maybe something to be done around finals time if you have the cash and the trades. For most though, wouldn't there be other areas of the team which require attention first?

I've got
Chapman
Pavlich
Franklin
Bradshaw
Porplyzia
J Brown
Rioli

Really only need to upgrade Rioli (forwards are the least of my problems ;))

I regret picking brown from the start.. but he should come good... i started the year with:
Pav
Brown
Murphy
Hall
Didak
Porplyzia
Deledio

I think i did well in picking those 7, especially Murphy, then i was forced to take out Hall

so i downgraded him and put Rioli on the field, if everything goes right, it is just Rioli who

i will upgrade soon to BJ soon and my forwards are set...

I read in the Sun today that Buddy has this slipping problem where his shoulder slips in and out and there's the potential of it totally dislocating. Read on where it said that he can play through it but would need surgery at the end of the year. At the very end of the article it said Porps has the same thing.

That injury plus Knights' return makes me think that Porps must be traded.

Why not keep him until he is out of the team?

Current

Didak
Burton
Riewoldt
Brown
Pavlich
Franklin
Rioli

Will swap Rioli for Chapman/Richo and be done with it I think. Possibly Burton towards the very end if I have extra trades.

Bradshaw has been great thus far, doesn't exactly warrant a "mistake", unless you picked up Bradshaw this week.

Started with
Franklin
Pavlich
Brown
Porplyzia
Hall
Lucas
Rioli

Gamble
Jarryd Morton

Initially i thought it was a very strong forward line but with Lucas & Hall going down and Brown's terrible form it has been quite weak. In heinsight should have chosen Robert Murphy over Hall and Richo over Lucas. Only change has been Lucas to Hill. Unfortunately i STILL have Hall on the bench :( but will be finally traded out this week for either BJ/Chapman. Will still leave Gamble/Hill + Rioli needed to be upgraded, ultimately my team has been hit hard with injuries all year and hasnt coped too well (currently ranked 7000th!) but on the upside i still have 15 trades to be put to good use :)

I have no idea anymore:

Currently got:
Pav
Brown
BJ
Cloke
Fev
Burton
Rioli/Gamble/Tippett

Rioli>Chapman at some stage

Haven't used any trades in the forwards yet.

and hovering Fev/Cloke but I might wear them for the time being.

Porps has played mainly forward in the last few weeks and still scored pretty well.

Yeah but in general they're less consistent, and he's definitely been scoring less in the last few weeks than he was at the start. I have him and I'm planning to hang on to him for a while, but only because the crows have a very easy draw over the next month or so, by which time I'll hopefully be able to trade him out to a gun without losing much cash.

True. but as you said yourself forwards aren't as consistent. There aren't that many good options around. Plus is it worth the trade for about 10-20 points a week more.

currently

Brown
Pav
Franklin
Cloke
Deledio
Vince
Rioli

not sure what to do with cloke. suggestions?

i've got T.Cloke too.
just when i was starting to warm to him. 129pts vs Ess
the teabagger dishes up 34pts in rd7.

his head is on the chopping block. no doubt.
i am going to offload Rioli before Cloke. he's got one more chance.
his break even is actually looking okay for rd8 (but rd9 - faaaarrrrkkkk )
