A lot of players from the 2007 draft have really come good this year and it's turned out to be a really strong draft, hence the options. Who do you think is the best player to come out of that draft?

I went with Cotchin.

I feel he and Dangerfield will end up being the standouts, with Walker, Ward, Selwood, Kreuzer, Taylor and Rioli on the proverbial rung below.

As his official sponsor, I voted for Scooter. But in terms of output so far, I would rank them like so:

Cotchin
S.Selwood
Taylor
Dangerfield
McEvoy
Rioli
Ward
Walker
Rance
Bird
Henderson
Thompson
Masten
Pears
Grimes
Kreuzer
Armfield
Mayne
Myers

Yeah, agreed Herne Hill Hammer. I always considered the '07 draft a bit of a weak one but that list above is looking better every round.

I vote Cotch, just has "it"... whatever "it" is...

For consistency and talent each week...

cotchin
Ward
Dangerfield
Selwood

Taylor
Thompson
Rance

The rest are still finding their feet a bit IMO.

Bit harsh on McEvoy and Rioli

Hard to split Cotchin and Dangerfield, two of my favourite players both of whom are capable of becoming top five in the league. Taylor a clear third

Taylor has been a vital premiership cog, but Cotchin and Dangerfield will move past him - if they haven't already. Cotchin for mine.

Cotchin isn't there yet. He's been injured and played some really good games but hasn't got near the premierships and AA that Taylor has under his belt.

In 2 years time, Cotchin will have blown them all out of the water.

Cotchin all the way - he has his own style, or a mix of ablett, judd and swan put together in a package. Yeah im bias but *** this kid is a gem, and how old he is even makes that smile on my face much bigger.

Cotchin
Taylor
Dangerfield

Accidentally selected Scott Selwood. I am such a tool :( I give my real vote to Cotchin.

Cotchin.

How much do we have to stick in a brown paper bag to get him? :D

Can I have my vote back? I thought it was Joel Selwood!!!

I was also considering doing my best impersonation of The General and voting for Myers!!

Early on I'd have said Kruezer, last year it was Cotchin, now it would be a coin toss between Dangerfield and Cotchin and I think at the end of their careers the only thing that will split them all is who has the most injury free career!

Also don't discount Myers. He is tracking better than Jobe Watson was at the same age. Came to the club as a running half back, then kept growing and is now taller than Tayte Pears. Once his body settles down he'll slowly increase his time in the middle. Might end up a big bodied mid who also has a booming 60m kick ..... OK discount him! I'm biased on that one as I used to chat to him at Coburg safeway a lot!!!!

Cotchin will end up being the best player.

Cotchin
Taylor
Kreuzer
Dangerfield
Rioli
Ward
Rance

Top 4 hard to split. Kreuzer could be number 1 but he has been injuried a bit over the last few years. Dangerfield has come along this year and could be no.1 by the end of it. Taylor has been no.1 for the first few years and is the best key position player in the draft. Rance could be a gun with a bit of polish. Rioli when on is impossible to stop.

Cotchin and Dangerfield clearly.

Another noteworthy addition could be Jack Grimes. His last quarter last night was incredible. Clearly he has a long way to go before catching up to the names mentioned above, but I had honestly forgotten what a talent he was. Just needs to stay injury free as his progress has clearly been marred.

Given how long key position forwards take to come on and considering what he is showing this year, Walker will move up that list quickly
