I reckon if we kick higher scores than the opposition I will be able to live with whatever style we are playing.
Watson 65 metre bullet from the goal square to Yarran on the half back flank. Yazz has a bounce or two down the wing whilst dancing around his opponents and from 60 metres out puts the Sherrin on Casboults chest 15 metres out and directly in front of goal. Casboult slots home his 6th for the day.
Bloody short people just get in the way.Watson to Kreuzer to Casboult is more direct - chop the little fellas out - they are annoying.![]()
CARLTON
Blues coach Mick Malthouse's desire for more versatile players, less predictability and a deeper, more diverse midfield to take some pressure off Chris Judd and Marc Murphy is likely to result in key playmakers Bryce Gibbs and Chris Yarran spending more time in the midfield. Even livewire forwards Eddie Betts, Jeff Garlett and Andrew Walker are expected to have bursts on the ball, just as Malthouse did at Collingwood with instinctive types like Leon Davis and Alan Didak. The new Blues mentor has also been implementing his tried-and-true safety-first approach to ball movement: wide from defence before going more direct from wing/half-forward, and only going inboard when the target is well clear.
i think we pretty much hit that out of the park in our discussion
I'm just looking forward to seeing a plan B for the first time in while.

18 shots on goal would be something to see...Casboult slots home his 6th for the day.
With the speed that our players have for spreading the play, I reckon that we will always have players clear in the corridor forward of centre
until the gold coast game, he had a 50% strike rate... so if he has 18 shots on goal, I would expect to see 9 goals18 shots on goal would be something to see...
