Thought I'd take the focus off Malkin's dislocated shoulder :(
This should be interesting if we get a good list together, there've been some classical names over the years.
  • Peter Sidorkiewicz
  • Wojtek Wolski
  • Håkan Loob
  • Mario Lemieux (only because when French commentators say 'he scores', it sounds like 'Il Emeiu'. Kinda ironic, if that's actually what they say ;)

I just loved the sound of

Guy Lafleur....

Unusual? How about:

Orest Kindarchuk (my spelling mmay be off on the last name, but it is as it sounded)

And i always loved the sound of the Stastny brothers....especially with dave Hodge and Co doing HNIC

My favourite of all time is Zarley Zalapski.
Also, props to my man, Ron Tugnutt.
I'll think of some more later.

Roughly translated, Brind'Amour in French is 'a little love' or 'a bit of love'. Can't remember which one.

Rod Brind'Amour - always liked this name.

P.J Axelsson - sounds like the name for a swedish heavy metal guitarist.

Hannu Toivonen

J.CheeChoo - get out the train whistles TOOT TOOT
Hahaha, that reminds me of one of my favourite players in the NHL. Jordin Tootoo!
Actually, Tootoo plays on the same line as Darcy Hordichuk, which is also an awesome name and also one of my favourite players.
