Who do you think is the best small forward?

Couldnt find a small forward for Richmond and West Coast

Not sure if #1 in the entire league, but Eddie is very underrated. Carlton rely a lot on him, more than people probably realise and he continually does the job, an extremely valuable player.

No poll! :(

Neon Leon Davis
Eddie Betts
Jason Porplyzia
Daniel Motlop (on his day)
Paul Chapman
Mark Williams

Hmm depends what type of small forward. There are marking small forwards and crumbing small forwards.

I think Alwyn is the best crumbing/pressure small forward whilst Porplyzia is the best mid type small forward

Not that you did a great job with the Crows. Since picking up Symes we've played him in the backline, running through midfield. He has kicked a small handful of goals - most of which from the 50.

Porps is probably the closest thing we've got to a 'small' forward at AFL level at the moment.

I also think some of your other choices are a little off. Williams, for example, was used as a lead up full forward pre-Buddy. As for the Bullies, you may as well have listed their entire forward line (barring Big Will).

Either way I really think it's a three-way battle between Milne, Davis and Betts.

Not my fault you dont have a forward line :p

Finally someone realizes!

And an Essendon Supporter

I'd say we have three of the very best, in Didak, Medhurst and Leon. Chapman is right up there obviously, and Campbell has been fantastic this year. Not sure who I'd pick... the best of each is breathtaking.

SO Leon Davis but not Medhurst and Didak even though both are small forwards.

But my tip from the poll however goes to Jeff Farmer.

Its only 1 player a team and on current form Leon Davis wins hands down

Our small forwards are McKinley and Lecras at 184cm and 183cm respectively.

now Brad Symes is 187cm
Mark Williams is 180cm
Lindsay Thomas is 181cm
Daniel Motlop is 185
Ryan Okeefe is 190cm
Robert Murphy is 186

Both are good marking options on the lead, but in terms of crumbing Lecras is probably the better of the two.
Can you please up date your poll.

Ryan O'Keefe is 190!

Wow.

He should be removed from the poll, and put in the "best CHF in the league" poll....

I know was a bit shocked at that myself, seems to be a in between height 5cm each way and he would be in a different class. Either medium height forward or tall forward atm he is a tallmed forward.
