very happy with that from a freo perspective.
naita and some gun mids should do the trick.
big drop from shoenmarkers (i) at 16 and shoenmakers (ii) at 28

If Sidebottom is at our pick we'll take him

Beams nominated for the afl draft instead of contracting with the GC17

2 Schoemakers mate ... :o
Good to see Ash Smith rated pretty high :)

My bad. Will fix that up!

Re: Ash Smith, I think he has it all that could see him make it in the AFL. I just think he needs to consistently put 4 quarters together, and he does do some good stuff, just not enough of it. I really would of liked to see what kind of beep he posted. Although was mentioned by Cruiser23 I think, but he does tend to 'shirk the issue' on occasions. I see him as an outside running HalfBack in the mould of Jason Gram

No Rhys O'Keefe! If he is available by pick 31 I would expect the Dogs to take him. I do rate Milne quite highly but is too much of a risk to be taken with 32 imo and Suban and O'Keefe would be the logical choice there if still available.

BINGO! thats the one I had at 28 when I accidentally put Schoenmaker in twice. Its been killing me, because all my notes are at work!:D

You see the Bulldogs have already stated; (and don't ask what the source is, because I can't remember, but I think it was afl.com.au)
1. They will draft talls. Which is logical, because we seriously lack KPP's, that can stay on the park at least. Also, we have a great midfield, with great depth.

2. They will only be having 3 selections at this draft. Personally, I think they will all be talls.

Now, I believe Milne will be a prime candidate for either 31 or 32, because he is the stereotypical Clayton draftee. Tall, skinny, athletic but also very good one on one. I think he isn't rated as highly on bigfooty, because he is rather shaded by a lot of his Murray team mates. But he is the best backman, in the best backline in the comp.

As for Lynch, probably can't see him play as a KPP at AFL level yet, but he is 191cm and probably still has a CM or 2 of growing to do. For some reason on here, he is underated, because I believe he has the talent to go first round. Also, the dogs are after more of a power Key foward. Cahill is the only real KPP foward left and seems to be the type that would play the 2nd or 3rd type tall. Perhaps Clayton has something up his sleeve for the Rookie draft

I think that's actually not a bad effort.

Well done.

Like I said, I largely depend on the internet for the players outside of Victoria. I haven't seen any of them live!

As for the VIC kids, I would of seen about 30 TAC games this year and about 20 last year, so I'd like to think I have a reasonable knowledge of them

Jayden Post from Western Jets could be in the mix...
Not sure about Clancee Pearce at 17, thought he might be a chance later...
Would be very surprised to see Mckernan around at pick 19...
To be fair though, it looks a very tough draft to predict after the first 3.

I think Hurley won't go anywhere near as high as what people on this forum have him.
How many Full-Backs go top 5?
He doesn't have particularly good acceleration off the mark and doesn't have a big tank, so he may be pushed down the order a bit, or maybe not. Dunno, just speculating...

I think Phil Davis could go as high as early 20s, he's rated very highly, but missed the U-18 national champs. so has been off the radar somewhat..

Maybe he wanted more than Well done!

Just wait until I attempt my lame effort, I expect everyone to be telling me how good I am!

Just load it with Swans colts boys and you'll be OK. :thumbsu::D

I love Blight and I reckon Pearce is a gem [who will probably slide]. A great kid is who one tough son of a bitch.

Well I do have a slight love affair with 3 players, Blight, Pearce and Ranga!

Ranga Banfield is actually my slight favourite, he may not be the most gifted but he is my favourite none the less.

I started with Notte, Yarran, Naita, Walters last year and that developed to Jetta, Blight, Pearce, Banfield, McKinlay and Garlett (Clint) this year (in the order in which I noticed them). :D And there's supposed to be 4 beauties coming through the 16s this year!

This is one guy that for whatever reason I don't seem to rate as high as other people. I keep making a mock draft and he slides down my list of players. I just keep finding players that I would prefer to pick instead of him.

I'm starting to wonder if I am growing a dislike for no reason at all. Just like at the moment I keep bumping Schoenmakers higher in my lists.

By all means I am willing to be educated on the benfits of Jetta, maybe it is just his height that is getting to me.

I wandered out to Basso on a cold and dreary morning, playing Claremont where I was hoping to catch a glimpse of this elusive, mythical creature called Tom Swift. I was watching Swift and talking to a lady from Bunbury.
Up leapt the number 7 and outmarked Blight, from memory, in the wet. Wow, that was a pretty good mark in these conditions I said. "that's my boy, Neville" this lady replied. He actually took my focus off Swift and Blight, that's how good a day he had and he didn't let that level slip for the rest of the season. But I agree, he'll be a bit of a slider, even though I personally would rank him higher than someone who is really getting their tyres pumped up on BF, Hill (waits for mass attack).:)
