This year was Danger's best year for us and he was pretty much the the games best player in the last month or so.

Dangerfield sooked in a number of games. No way is he winning after his performance against Vince. Looking back at games like that, it appears he didn't want to get hurt for us.

Jacobs and Talia held things together all year. I'd be backing Talia in and his role around some very young inexperienced players. Just hope his cats stopped vomiting.

Laird will be right up there, Dangers first half of the season was no where near as good as his 2nd half.

BnF's are tailored for consistency, Laird will poll well in just about every game.

There have been many Brownlow medalists that haven't won their clubs BnF.

Who can forget Campo blasting Danger on the phone when he decided to do his own thing in the midfield and cost the team. Not an isolated instance either.

I really think Laird deserves to win it. He has been unbelievably good in his role this year.

Remember the Freo game where we all thought VB sucked and then the coaches votes had him as the like the 4th best guy on the ground? Coaches usually go a bit more different with how they vote.

Of course if he doesn't win then the media will run with the conspiracy theory that we altered the votes because we didn't want a departing player winning the B&F, but if Jacobs, Laird or maybe even Betts won it, you can take it as a legitimate win.

Talia was pretty much our best player last year though... AA fullback and best defender in the comp.

If the votes themselves are within reason and laird still win then good on lairdy But if we deliberately alter the votes to make it so PD doesn't win I would be very disapointed in the club

I think I'd put money on Laird. Danger may have been the best, but club B&Fs are odd things, often can happen that a player can win a Brownlow and not win the club's award.

No one giving Tex a chance at snagging it? As mentioned above, bnf votes aren't just for the best player but based on performing their role, hence how Talia edged out Sloane last year. Wouldn't surprise me to see someone not expected to win, can't see why it wouldn't be Tex, had a very consistent year with a few standout performances on the way.

Based on his form this season Patrick Dangerfield would be the rightful winner of the Best and Fairest Award. Just because he decided to piss off to Geelong and leave us "at the alter" it does not mean that his achievements this season at this footy club should be diminished. He will win the B&F and possibly a Brownlow as an Adelaide player before he moves on to Geelong.

Sure is heartbreaking that he is going but **** me, we are not that immature to all of a sudden re-jig the B&F votes so that someone else wins it.

Tex didn't perform when we needed him the most. When Jenkins was out of form and we had a shit tone of injuries.
