I think we'll end up with about 15 wins IF we can get a full list going [well close to it anyay!!] by the middle of the season.

Gee a number of replies in a short tinme on a Friday - kind of glad I had to go to hospital from work yesterday! An extra long weekend!

The way this season is shaping, 15 wins and a good percentage could just about see you top or second I reckon. Not much in it at all!

Hope you're OK there dezzmo!! Have a good weekend!

Dezzmo, hope you get better soon! :) If you are visiting the major teaching hospital, then you are in safe hands (as it is my place of work!)

Take it easy dezzmo.

Hope the stress test goes well for you. If you aren't liking the sound of it, get one of the Crows players to take it for you - I'm sure they'll pass :D :p

Take it easy dezzmo. We don't want you stressing too much:) .

Don't worry about the stress test, they will just run you until you practically drop off your feet.:p ;)

crowsfan is right, get one of the Crows to fill in for you:D

Well I think the way it was described I'll last a few minutes if I'm lucky!! - meant to go for about 10!! Then again when it was 1st raised it was going to be a question and answer thing!

Had to race over [by foot] to my son's school to pick up him as my keys were still in the wifes car after she met at the doctors - and after getting one block I had to continue at a very slow walk!!
Luckily she returned from her lunch in time to go past the school and see us - hence we got a ride home - phew!

Is that the Wakefield St Heart clinic you're going to Dezzmo??

If so, take it from someone who's been the beneficiary of their services that you're in very good hands.

Nothing to worry about dezzmo. You are in good hands. They will just get you on a threadmill and connect all these wires to monitor you heart. You will start of at a walking paace and every minute the threadmill will speed up a bit and the slope will be increased a notch. You will run until you get to you max heart rate, which is approximately 220 less your age. During this time they will check how your ticker is handling the exercise. Nothing to worry about. Been there myself and my uncle has done the same thing. Might take you a few minutes to catch your breath but its no dramas.;)

Only worry then for me is, i have never been on a treadmill before!! - Oh well always a 1st time for everything!!! - will be an interesting experience.

When I get stressed I get these stabbing pain in the ticker. Having a worrying friend as I do, she made me go to a doctor to get refered to Enzo. As she works at Wakefield she organised the appointment for me.

So I got on the treadmill and ran until I got my my max heart rate (205bpm) and as it turned out the ticker is great its the nerves that cause the pain. ;) :)

It seems a bit surprising to me that your doctor (GP?) referred you to a cardiologist there, as cardiac involvement doesn't involve stabbing pain there. I'm glad its not your heart - you'd be too young to have heart problems already. Its all good

Mine was a bit worse than Stiffy's, dezzmo. Thank god I had the stress test.

I had been doing some really heavy physical work and got chest pains, so I went to the cardiologist - same place as you.

The stress test showed that I had a blocked artery (90%) and as the doc put it I was a heart attack waiting to happen.

Six days later I had an angiogram, an angioplastie (the balloon) to open up the artery and a stent placed in it to keep it open. Two days off work plus the weekend and back to work on Monday as good as gold.

So you can't lose dezzmo. Either there'll be nothing wrong with you or they'll find something and fix it!! :)

If I can butt in, cheers from this bloke "up the road" dezzmo.
By the sounds of it you're in good hands.

Had one a few years ago along with a complete check-up & boy am i glad i did, found out i had HBP, HCh, & Di plus a few other bits & pieces so had to change my life style completely, lost 8kl in weight & now do plenty of walking the dog & have never been better so go for it dezzmo as forewarned is forearmed or something like that.

ps, would like to class myself as a young fella but sadly those days are long gone.

What side of 54 are you on Noddy??

Thanks for all the encouragement fellas - yeh I'm sure whatever it is it will be minor - maybe make a few adjustments - diet, exercise, don't listen to or watch crows!! - and there may be nothing there at all which is what I am hoping. Mind yuo it5 was abit scvary on Tursday - 1st time I've ever walked away from work like that.

But then the BP was pretty high and the Cholestrol test was a tad over so we will see!. Might go for a walk now and test the old body out - maybe the young lad might like a few kicks at the local school oval!!!

No way. If I was on my last legs I would still watch the crows even if I pass away when macca kicks a pearler.:D ;)

I broke up with 2 girlfriends because of the Crows. They just don't understand that nothing comes before Crows.:(
