Robbie as mentioned this is one block (5 min) to Flinders street station or trams depending on how you want to get to the ground and it was chosen as it’s atmosphersd is subdued compared to the Young and Jackson and Transport, which on a Friday night which is a melting pot of post workers and going to game people who already know each other and want a quick location to meet for a drink.

As we don’t know all know each other all that well the CD was chosen as you wont be smacking into people to get a drink or get back to the table or the toilet, queuing up behind 10 people and there will be enough quiet to engage a proper conversation.

What I consider the perfect meet up pub for an internet community not overly well known to one another. Once settled in the group can always decide to push on somewhere else that has a vibe or agree on such a place to meet after the game if they desire too.

Agree the CD is a good place to meet up that isn't over-crowded

I'll go anywhere and no one was going to have a favourite pub but I've deliberately tried to avoid the pubs where it is standing room only on footy nights around the ground or so loud with music you cant hear each other.

If were we we're a group whop met regularly it would be easier .
