Bruce "I wanna suck Goodes ****" MacAveney over saw the most biased rambling commentary I believe i"ve heard for a long time.

Tim Watson should really go and have a good look at himself.
At least having been exposed in a GF by the Pies he has a valid reason to be totally Sydney centric, but he can suck my Collingwood dick as well.
 
It's true. Goodes wasn't nearly as influential as they were making him out to be. If he gets two or three Brownlow votes in this game I'll put my foot through my TV on the night. Then again, Goodes gets three votes for an 11 possession game so I wouldn't be surprised. :rolleyes:

Bruce wouldn't shut up about the pies in the last quarter - kept talking us up all the time. Goodes was Sydney's best, as well, and kicked three beautiful goals in over 20 possessions... Not a bad game.

Bruce was saying we would be premiership favourites by sunrise and that he would back us to beat anyone in the competition...
 
Goodes was clearly our best, but I agree that the commentators went over the top. To the guy that said Wood dominated the ruck, don't be stupid.
In regards to the Brownlow, Collingwood didn't have a standout apart from Beams imo, so he could easily grab 2 votes. Very even display from the Pies today, which is a good sign heading into the finals.

Im warning you Pie eyed, dont watch on the couch tomorrow night. I guarentee you Healy will still think the swans can make the finals and will crap on about how bloody good they are for half the show. then he will go on about how the crows are the favourite for the flag and the pies are just making up numbers. Its going to tip you over the edge i recon.
 
Goodes was the only one who stood out really. The rest was so even..... But yeah. Whatever I was at the game screw channel 7.
 
should have been listening to MMM, it's all i could get at the ground (no AM) and it was awful, steve quartermaine is atrocious, it was all goods and sydney for the first half then in the last quarter they all jumped on the bandwagon!

as said above, nothing worse than commentators just chatting and occasionally mentioning the footy (e.g. start of the third quarter, MMM didn't start calling the game for the first 40 seconds, in which time the swans already had a shot on goal!)

Goodes was good, I'm not taking that away from him but the sole focus was on him.
Pathetic. "Vomit journalism" and Bruce should be told he's a biased ****. His man love verging on gay tendencies is a scourge on the game.

You get to expect shit like this from the Walls/Lane arse kissing sessions but not from Commetti.

Simply "pus" and unacceptable.

The ****ing crap about "bias" which oozed when Eddie was commentating was unfounded garbage and now we have to put up with this ****en oozing bias, uninvited in our own lounge rooms...
I'd tell the lot of them to both their faces if they ever ventured outside of their ivory towers.

They can get ****ed and I will tell them at the MCG on GF day.

Look for the big sign in the crowd to that effect...lol

It wasn't just over the top with the Goodes love. They were going on about Collingwood in the last quarter too. They should just focus on the game.
 
lol, goodes was not BOG, 24 touches at 50% efficiency and 5 clangers, people just love the bloke a la judd, they touch the ball and its JIMP!
on top of that, 5 contested possies compared to beams 10
one clearance to goodes and 6 to beams

just cos he can get it and run with it doesn't mean he's the best player, he stands out yes but that doesn't mean he was the best

my final argument, Robert Walls gave Goodes the 3 votes, and he is a MORON, so if you think Goodes was BOG you are in the same boat as that w***er
 
Rhys Shaw had more effect on the game than Goodes. Too many possessions in soft spots......was okay but not vote worthy. Realistically...pies kick straight they win by 12 goals....cant hand votes to a Sydney player in a shallacking like today. Beams, H Shaw and Maxy for mine for effecting the outcome. Jack had greater bearing on the game than Goodes also. having said this...I expect Goodes to get 3 on Brownlow night and expect to see a close up of his very excited mother. He will poll votes 6ft under.

I was so ****ing pissed off with the commentating today.

Bruce, the way he gushes over every play and every 'superstar', sounding like he is creaming his pants, makes me sick.

And Tim Watson is as bad as the Ox at saying a whole lot of nothing. He can talk for 10 minutes without saying a single insightful thing, always pointing out the glaring obvious like we're a pack of idiots who need to have everything spelled out.

I guess standing out doesn't get you votes from the umpires then, they go back and study all the stats and everything then give votes? Thats why he got 3 for his 11 possession game?

I have not had the pleasure of seeing the game yet so I am getting quite excited..................

Cannot wait to hear the commentary it should be "special"
