I read a recap of the day's play yesterday that said the unusually warm and dry weather to start spring has caused the pitch to flatten out a lot. No idea if that's true, but the WACA wicket sure had a lot more spice in it at this time last year.

Right now it seems to not offer much to the bowlers but also isn't conducive to scoring quickly, which is about the most boring combination that you can get.
