Hardie is weirdly being treated like a batsman who can occasionally bowl so far this BBL, as opposed to a genuine all-rounder. Made sense when they had the full complement of quicks but now I would have expected him to bowl a bit more.

They’re both young though, and have improved a lot to the point where Morris was in the frame for test selection and Hardie was in the PM’s XI. I don’t think they can necessarily be judged on their white ball records from their age 22/23 play.
