I don't think the hawthorn's forward line is playing very well.

STATS:

Barker: 8 goals in 7 games. Avg: 1.1 goals per game.
Holland: 10 goals in 8 games. Avg: 1.25 goals per game.
Dixon: 13 goals in 8 games. Avg: 1.6 goals per game.
Barlow: 6 goals in 7 games. Avg: 0.86 goals per game.
Chick: 14 goals in 8 games. Avg:1.75 goals per game.

As you see, Hawthorn's forward line isn't performing very well. I think it's a worry after having a few very big wins.

couldnt agree with you more and last nights' accuracy a big indication.....our mid-feilders are hard at work to get us over the line...

Look at the list...

Barker: Underdone, still seems to be struggling with injury
Holland: Not at his best and another who is still fighting back from injury
Dixon: Still providing a contest every time, if it wasn't for his contest the midfielders wouldn't be able to rove it and kick those goals.
Barlow: Has been playing midfield a bit this season and although he hasn't kicked that many goals, has taken plenty of marks.
Chick: Still having a good effect on the game, his tackles, hardness and pressure to keep it in the forward line help those midfielders to kick the goals...

I wouldn't be too worried at the moment, the forwards are supposed to kick goals... but if they are going to pass off or set up goals for the midfielders then what is wrong with that?

The Hawks forward line failed yet again.

I think we're got some tough weeks ahead if they don't start performing.
