I remember Tony Caunter from a movie and TV show both of which I loved when I was younger.

The movie was 'SOS Titanic' from 1979, in which Caunter played Chief Officer Henry Wilde. At the time I thought it was the best movie I had ever seen, and thought nobody could ever make a better or more exciting Titanic movie.

The TV show was 'Running Scared', a hard-hitting kids/teenage crime drama from 1986, in which a teenage girl from London's East End named Paula is an accidental witness to high level organized crime, the main villain played by Christopher Ellison (Frank Burnside from The Bill). Tony Caunter played Paula's uncle, who also finds out his own son is getting involved in crime. The series was critically acclaimed at the time but nearly 40 years on is largely forgotten, and the talented young actress who played Paula (Julia Millbank) has faded into obscurity with no credited acting roles since 1990.

Does anyone else remember watching SOS Titanic or Running Scared?

Samantha Eggar 86 English Actress

14 points for emuboy who is racing up the ladder with 53

* But its a good reminder to curate your list to see if we have missed any

Samantha Eggar was a brilliant actress, not to mention very pretty. She and Terrance Stamp played off so well against each other in 'The Collector'. When we studied 'The Collector' at high school I always imagined Terrance Stamp as Fred and Samantha Eggar as Miranda while reading the novel.

However, in the awful musical 'Doctor Dolittle' two years later in 1967, Eggar clearly looks like she would prefer to be back in the cellar with Fred Clegg. And she was not the only one. Star Rex Harrison (in the titular role) clearly is contemptuous of every aspect of the film and it shows in every scene; while Anthony Newley probably enjoyed making 'Garbage Pail Kids' 20 years later more than he did Doctor Dolittle.

Saw this on Reddit, feels like it's relevant to this thread :$

GreyCrow can you please do a Wikipedia eligibility check on this one? I'm curious to see if you're seeing what I'm seeing...

Proud Mr Bean GIF by Working Title

serial_thrilla was king of the throne for a matter of minutes but unfortunately for him, Adrian Sutton does not meet Rule 11:
Rule XI (The Wikipedia Rule): To be qualified as a legitimate nomination, each pick must have their own Wikipedia page that was started earlier than the two years prior to the start of this game. As an example, a Wikipedia page started January 6th, 2023 would not be eligible for the 2025 game however a page started December 17th, 2022 would be eligible. Any picks that don't comply with this rule will be void. The sub will not replace any ineligible picks. Players are responsible for their own lists.

Fairly, didn't expect Serial_Thrilla's list to contain an ineligible player given how much of a rule nazi he is...
I am thankful for his error
