Kid Delicious having a perfect game so far, 9-9/2-2/2-2 with zero TOs, start of the third. This could get really ugly for Sactown.

God I suck at knowing when it's Monday.

PP 36/8/6 minus KG.

Holy crash Westbrook 20-22 from the FT line... 22 freebies!

I watched that game, and the Thunder are much closer to being a legit team than people realise.

They have no shot-blocking or defensive rebounding right now which kills them, but they're a playoff team within 2 years. Bookmark it.

Didnt look. Will check when the next game is on.

We got the Superbowl though.

if you get Southern Cross you wont get the the basketball until sometime after April.

I got the the Superbowl too,but thats it

Check TDT-HD at a little while after 11PM tonight, if you can, and we will have a definite answer. :thumbsu:

That's true, but here in Tas TDT-HD have been trialling their Ten HD coverage since last week so hopefully that means we can fluke some NBA. Doubtful but worth a shot.

If they can land the hometown boy Griffin in the draft they immediately gain that post scorer, defensive rebounder and interior toughness they obviously lack. Would mean they'd have to make a decision on Jeff Green though.

What do you make of Scott Brooks? Seems to be doing a fine job as a rookie coach thus far and is getting a lot out of his players. They obviously like playing for him a lot more than PJ.

I really see KD playing the 4 long term, Green is great too at the 3, seems a really good character guy and the perfect sidekick for KD in a lot of ways

They really need a 5. Griffin has huge wraps on him though, he plays the 4 right?

I think by the time KD is 24-25 years old, he'll have filled out enough that he'll become a really crafty post defender and he already has a knack for grabbing boards a guy of his build has no place getting.

Thunder are a team to watch for sure.

I'm just really high on Durant, I love his game. The guy has a 7'6 wingspan (longer than Greg Oden's) but handles the rock like a 2-guard. He's 6'10 and shoots 3's better than nearly the entire league. He can post up, drive from the perimeter or shoot over you. He's crafty and he takes (and makes) the big shots.

Yeah, I've said it before, but I really don't see a future for Jeff Green in this starting line-up. He's basically a less skilled, worse-rebounding version of Antawn Jamison. He's also a ball-stopper. Like him as a sixth man option though.

As for the draft, I think the Thunder are nicely placed regardless of where they land in the lottery. They need a rebounder/shot-blocker and they need a SG, and the top of the draft seems to be loaded with these types of guys.

David Thorpe speaks really highly of him, they're winning more, and he's obviously getting a lot more out of Durant and Westbrook which is the main thing. I imagine he'll definitely get extended sooner rather than later.

I'd dispute that. Gets most of his looks from beating slower PF's off the dribble, or popping out to the 3 where opposition bigs won't follow him out. Just doesn't have the first step or the ball-handling to play full-time on the perimeter imo.

No luck. TDT-HD has got the Ten News on. Bugger.

Are we going to get ONE?

Dallas Mavericks at Orlando Magic
Memphis Grizzlies at Washington Wizards
Los Angeles Clippers at Miami Heat
Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks
Portland Trail Blazers at New Orleans Hornets
Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns
Charlotte Bobcats at Utah Jazz
San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors

I reckon he could develop into an Artest-type player. not fast, not great handles, but super strong compared to most 3's and a good defender/hustler and shooter.

Except he's a poor defender, and doesn't have the quick hands/feet that made Artest a star. Maybe he'll surprise me somehow, but I doubt it.
