Agree on the lack of quality upfront and at 10/LW due to injury/nil investment and should improve with future ins.

However

Still think he could've changed the Palhinha Bentancur pairing much much earlier with Bergvall, Sarr and Gray all sitting on the bench for far too long, dropped all those points to Bournemouth, Brighton and Wolves in September it was clear as day back then it wasn't going to work. Dropping Villa and Chelski was inexcusable afterwards for mine. Our away wins at Man City and West Ham have propped us up imo. Could be way worse.

Gunna have to bring out the bitchbets again I think, haven't made one since this

parking aside that I strongly disagree with the group think on our double pivot, in those games specifically I watched the first two. Don't think CDM was the reason we lost either.

Bournemouth we had Semenyo rinsing Porro all game and getting no defensive running down the right from Kudus. Vicario from memory saved it being a far worse defeat and Brighton was an issue with both wingers Minteh and Mitoma.

It could be way worse, but I got over Villa very quickly. Bentancur played well and scored, and both their goals were unbeatable shots. When you lose to worldies I find it hard to get upset.

Have a run in the UCL knockouts and make top 6, which we should do, and we can build on that for next season. We were never solving all our problems that saw us 17th in one window.

watching this gives an interesting proposition, especially with our CB's in the next 2 - 5 years.

Romero (27)
Van De Ven (24)
Dragusin (23)
Danso (27)

Dorrington (20)
Phillips (20)
Vuskovic (18)

Apparently Phillips is dominating at stoke, almost swapped with Jamie Donley who did well there last season (one good, one poor)

Should be 1-0, Betancur with a horrible first touch thinking he was playing park football
Aye you're still with us

But yeah they are definitely more efficient to start with

I really struggle to watch this, I know Angeball probably 2-0 down already but this just feels like spurs are delaying losing as long as they could. Offering absolutely nothing

0 attempts, down 2 nil

Don't get me wrong I see franks vision and I understand settling the defence but this is pathetic, playing like a conference team who are trying to minimise damage

Cowardly set up by Frank. No desire to get forward was just waiting for the inevitable goal
A setup reliant on scoring first. Or at worst keeping it 0-0.
We achieved neither and now the change to get us into the game could go one of two ways. Scrape a 2-2 draw or lose 5-0.

Why can't anyone here separate the current with the past? Today being predictably shit doesn't absolve two years of shit that preceeded it.

As for the setup, I will continue to call out the contradictory lunacy many of you persist with. Double pivot was why we were shit under Ange conceding at an alarming rate, yet also the problem now that our goal concession is acceptably lower.

My main contention was that 22 league defeats in a season sees any manager get sacked. And it occurred as expected.
I have offered very few opinions on Frank other than we need more time. I want another summer window before forming any meaningful viewpoints.

You pretty much disappeared in a season where we won a trophy. Then came back to stick the fork in after Ange got sacked, have recently bragged about this double pivot genius yet we are unbelievably painful to watch at the moment. It shouldn't be obvious we are predictably shit to watch today especially with this managerial change.

Im surprised he is back with Levy gone. Genuinely supports the balance sheet more than the club

Old mate says 2 years of misery and yet after 12 games last year Ange was 1 point better off and a way better GD. Then injuries absolutely crushed the team. This was the game week vicario went out and the 12+ weekly injuries including the whole defence essentially went out.

I didn't leave but toned back watching games for a good reason, which is poignant in this month as men's mental health month.
If you want to use that against me, go right ahead. I was up front with it, if that's the type of person you want to be then you do you.

Maybe if you've lost someone dear to you to suicide, and also been on the precipace yourself you'd understand that the words on a screen could be what tips the person behind the screen over the edge, or makes their day and pulls them back from the ledge. I've experienced both as said dear friend, and personally myself.

If someone having a critical viewpoint on Ange seems to offend people so much then maybe look within, because in the end I was shown to be right. He would get sacked, deserved to get sacked, and was sacked. His football was sending us down, and he was sacked again this year as his football was sending Forest down.
