I personally like a lot of that classic rock stuff - actually i snuck into this venue via rooftop the other day and there where playing this great Pink Floyd remix, it was great.

not much of a discriminator myself. there's amazing music in every decade since the 50's i reckon.

Just sifting through some of the stuff you've posted on here i'm impressed you know who pink floyd is. Could be a coincidence but i typed 'classic rock bands' into google and "pink floyd" was in the first link

but yeah havent heard much of the stuff you've posted ill have a listen.

BigSexc are you really saying Kanye is the greatest hip-hop artist of this time because of the amount of hits, songs, albums etc that he has? Lady Gaga,Rhianna, Katy Perry and Kesha must be some of the most talented people going around today then! No, its all about marketing and producing what all the little fan boys and girls want to hear, and what will make them more $$$..



This bloke has more brains and talent in his little finger than Kanye, sure he may not have many "hits" or albums, but maybe thats because he isnt making music for the $$ and bringing out anything for the sake of making some more dollars.

Though I don't agree with you on the Kanye comments...Kanye while may come across as a total douche in the media is actually highly talented and that gets lost...each to their own though...

Yes. That is exactly what i'm saying. Kanye is the great hip-hop artist of all time, of all time. Everything he touches turns to gold. Its just undeniable. You get caught up in the hype - the hype of hating him.

Kanye is a producer, his lyrics aren't always great, his flow isnt always tight. But when he hits it, no one can match him. Its not about fan boys, Kanye produces what he wants.

Lady Gaga is the same, she has serious talent and thats why people like her music. She started out writing hit songs for other. Then decided she could do 'superstar' better than all the clones she was writing for. I dont listen to her music, but i respect whats she's done.

Rhianna has people with serious talent writing songs for her, thats why people like her music. Let me tell you a little story about Rhianna.
That first song that she made it big with, S.O.S, that song was written for Christina Milian but she turned it down. So the record company went out and found someone else to do it. That person was Rhianna. The rest is history.. unfortunately..

Katy Perry and Kesha are fads of the highest order. Shameless consumerism. They will die out soon enough. I dont mind talentless artists as long as they are hot..

I'm not saying Kanye West is the most talented artist, you could probably name 20 more rappers with more meaningful lyrics, bopping beats and a tighter flow than Kanye. But you cant name anyone with a strike rate like Kanye's. Everything he touches turns to gold. Love him or hate, you have to respect that.

Been at the snow for a few days so missed all of saturdays game and most of the fall out. Created a thread but the mods deleted it, didnt brother to merge or anything, just a straight delete even thought it was quite relevant. I spent quite a bit of time compiling it as well.
Oh well, seem the way of things on the board these days. I will still read the main board in its current watered down form, but doubt i will waste my time posting much. I'll put some time into this thread bringing new and exciting music to you tone-def dees fans as i still enjoy a lot of your company

That album is absolute poo. No, really, it's POO. Who the hell listens to that boring, talentless rubbish? I could do that stuff and wail like a w***er with both hands tied behind my back.

Nice to see Syrus living in the mid to late 90's with a bit of Drowning Pool, Papa Roach (I laughed a bit at that one, everyone was a sucker for that song) and Rammstein (although you chose a decent song of theirs, and there aren't many). I'll forget you even bothered with Linkin Park...

Then AJ13 comes in with King Diamond for the mega win.
