One fairly sizable gripe I have is no quick save... Honestly quite disappointed that they'd omit such a feature. Though the fact that it's my biggest complaint should speak volumes for how polished this game is.

Bingo, mine too. I was feeling ill (fatigued perhaps) last night when I gave up the ghost at about 3:30 in the morning and was looking for a way to save... Alas, it's a checkpoint save only game which is a tad annoying but is the only possible gripe I could have as well.

Has anyone here ever traded anything in at JB? Really want to buy this super cheap because I probably shouldn't be spending money on games right now...

Would I knock off $30 odd by giving them Black Ops 2?

I would think you'd get around $30 for that game.

If you have two games to trade in you currently get 20% extra.

Anyway, I plan on getting this tomorrow or thursday, LONG WEEKEND.

Thanks mate, I'll find some other piece of shit knocking around and throw that in too.

I had set the uni break for getting some assignments done. That ain't happening now.

got it today and I am loving it. I remember now why I loved the first one so much. The combat is similar and that is no bad thing. Crows then shotgun, love it. I find myself stopping to take it all in and I am so glad I took the plunge and got myself a good PC recently. Just a tip for any PC-nvidia users, get the latest driver, 314.22. It made a huge difference, also, don't use the frame lock in game, but use the vsync-adaptive mode in Control Panel, that also made a big difference. Have tomorrow off and looking forward to a decent session tomorrow.

So are your pants still pitched like a tent Bender?

lol indeed - T Brett mentioned, I'm getting flashbacks to the original and how much fun I had playing that while discovering a new enjoyment playing this one.

Really cool.

if the download for the first one wasn't so big i would go back and play it again. I got a free code for my PC but i played it on xbox last time. Would like to see it on my new rig, but my internet is quite shit and 12gb's is too much hassle. I do keep having flashbacks everytime i listen to an audio log..

Yeah fair enough. I DL'd the original (PS3) last week - really looking forward to playing it again. I was more of a shock/magnum attack person though.

Really loving the Crows vigor - when I saw it on the preview it reminded me of the Swarm from the original which I found to be a pile of shit - but the crows is actually effective. Only just got Shock Jockey last night before turning it off, killed a few with it - so awesome.

just got Shock Jockey myself a few minutes ago! That hall of heroes area is exactly what i love about these games. Brilliant!

i've spent most of the arvo on it, but I have needed to stop every hour or so for a bit. It's a full on game, not just the combat, no spoilers, I'll leave it at that.
