Put your hand up if you are sick of all the negativity floating around at present. Recently this has led to endless *** for tat threads....which can be quite fun, but also can be quite frustrating.
Now I know this will probably attract some trolls, but.........

Time to day dream Bluebaggers:

What I'm after here is five things you think could happen inthe next three years. I'm not after an arguement, just dream the dream.......

1. Marc Murphey to win Brownlow and AA midfield along with Bryce Gibbs
2. Fev to have had his second consecutive 100 goal season
3. Carlos to be unlucky not to be AA CHB.
4. Josh Kenedy to kick 30 goals and lead the club in contested marks I50
5. Blues to make top 4 based on all of the above

6. bluboy to gain some credibility by posting something sensible

1. Andrew Walker to take mark of the year and have a stellar season - and will be recognised as one of the games up and coming elite:thumbsu: .
2. Thornton to absolutely dominate full-back and shutup some of the idiots on this board with an AA selection.
3. Collingwood in the bottom four:p - or better yet - Carlton to finish top 4 and defeat Collingwood in round 22, with the Pies missing the 8 on % as a result of the loss.
4. Jarrad Waite to finally live up to his potential and kick 50 goals, with Fisher and Kennedy both kicking 30.
5. Carlton winning prelim against the Bombers by a point:D, before going on to win the premiership.

C'mon WTTF.......there's a whole thread dedicated to this elsewhere.....and besides.........it would take at least 5 years:D

1. Kade Simpson to win the Brownlow in 2009-have been saying it since he was drafted

2. Andrew Walker to win Mark of The Year

3. Josh Kennedy and Bryce Gibbs (if we take him) to finish 1 and 2 in the NRS next year

4. Adam Hartlett to cement his position in the 22, at full back, by round 1, 2007

5. Fevola continue his fine form and get to the 100 in a season a few times.

Do I have to stop? :)

I already, 2 years ago, made a tip that either freo or carlton would win the premiership in 2009 i put a billion dollars on it.
West coast for 2007 also i guarantee it

Replace with Collingwood and Carlton to make the GF with Buckley set to retire after the game. Collingwood in front by 5 after the final siren, ball in Fev's hands 60m out, tight angle..... he kicks..... goals post high....

Buckley cries, Ferals say we cheated, we cheer :)

1. Jordan Russell to finally show why he was taken with the #9 pick in the 2004 National Draft

2. Andrew Walker combines with Marc Murphy, Kade Simpson and Bryce Gibbs to become the AFL's most dominant midfield.

3. Josh Kennedy to become a 50+ goal kicker per year.

4. Brad Fisher and Jarryd Waite finally learn how to get some penetration and accuracy when they are kicking for goal

5. Marc Murphy to be named the new captain of the Carlton Footy Club

Care to quote my "best" post you refer to officially?

Oh thats right you can't, as it doesn't exist.........grow up.

Not as far fetched as some might think. If anyone has moments of pessimism about our future - play the first three quarters of the Eagles game at Subi. Yeah, I know we lost at the end - but for 3 quarters we smashed the best - and at their home ground. What more do you need to spark a bit of pride and optimism?

1. Brendan Fevola kicks 120 goals in a season

2. Marc Murphy & Bryce Gibbs dominate season 2008 and tie for the Brownlow.

3. Jarrad Waite borrows Fevola's right leg when kicking for goal.

4. Andrew Walker & Kade Simpson become the two finest wing-men in the competition

5. Josh Kennedy proves he can play and single handedly wins us a clutch game when he takes 8 marks in the final quarter (6 contested) and kicks 5 goals for the quarter.

6. Carlton becomes the highest scoring forward line of all time.

7. We draft key defenders and have the tightest defence of all time

8. We make finals in 2008 but get knocked out in controversial circumstances when it appears Fevola has kicked a goal from outside the boundary line, but has been called to play on after going off his line. Boundary throw in is the result and the siren goes, Carlton lose.

10. Lance Whitnall Captains the AA team from CHB.

11. With all the success at Carlton, sponsors come flying in left, right and centre, Judd wants to return home and signals Carlton as his preferred destination.

You also think he is horrible?

Oh, you're the guy that thought we would finish in the top 8 in 2006, top 6 if I recall correctly. And what is your prediction for the Blues in 2007? Top 8.

I think you have proved to be too one eyed to provide a proper opinion on these sorts of matters.

Go through my posts all you like, bluboy had everyright to say what he did.
The same thing happens every year, people carry on about players and just join a band wagon without actually thinking about things.
Last season it was de-list Houlahan, Fev and Whitnall. Now all of a sudden Thornton is a super star best in the league blah, friggin blah. He was the only option we had, he was beaten many times, so he was no star. Was often rotated off players. Thems the facts about this bloke and thats all that was being pointed out. He isnt saying he was crap, he was stating exaclty what he was, it was everyone else who was being unrealistic by overrating the guy.

Show me one post where anyone said Thornton was the best in the league.

Don't make the mods angry and take it outside!

I think its fair to say though that for the first time in a LONG time, Carlton are rebuilding. We never had to do it bfore, so it is a new process. First we got rid of the cobwebs from the 96/97-01 period when Denis arrived, now we are getting rid of the fringe dwellers from 02-06. This year will be one of the last years of cleaning out the cobwebs. I wouldnt expect we would have a reasonably strong list by 2009, and one that will definitely be challenging for the flag by around 2011/2012.

It was always gong to happen, we've accepted it, and we are finally at a stage where we might have still have the worst list on paper, but no longer because we dont have a future, but because of remnants from our past.

12. We reject Judd as he is over the 24 year youth policy, he gets taken by collingwood and does his knee first game. Gibbs wins norm smith
