Won’t happen, Rance and Tahlia are selected before the season even starts. Should be though.

Although I’m very pleased with how he’s going I’m not expecting an AA berth. Maybe a 40-man squad gig.

He did not go too well this week. They moved him when he was being rag dolled.
I think they are different type of players. Blicz can play on key forwards at the FB position. Rance is more a link player from the backline. ie Blicz plays a true FB position and Rance is almost a HBF or back pocket player

But it must be remembered that it was created by and for the entertainment media.
No incestuous media buzz, no gig.
Which is why Stewart will be in, and Blicavs won't be.
It's why Duncan wasn't even in the squad last year.

I agree with CE... it can take multiple seasons before one gets recognition , and then the plaudits if you keep performing. Perform after being highlighted..in big games. Blitz problem is he may be moved to fit others into the side.. to versatile for his own good.

Very happy for blitz. Pretty much has played every role afl football has to offer, and he was pretty good in most of them. But now he has found a role his great at.

Premature would be after Round 1 when he beat Jesse Hogan. It’s halfway through the year so a good time to see how possible AA squad/team suspects are going.

If Blitz maintains his form he could be named as interchange. But as others have said the media and decision makers are totally infatuated with Rance. Barring season ending injury this week, Rance will be FB
