Wow. Funny. So original

Its also technically correct. GWS members are effectively only ticket holders, they arent members for the purposes of the Corporations act and the constitution of the Western Sydney Football Club Limited - The reality is the AFL is the only Member of the club at this time.

GWS loves robocalling its members (sorry, 'members') so I expect my pre-recorded update from Leon Cameron any day now.

So we can call Carlton Carltank? Technically correct as are most of the trolls.

You can if you want. Dont be surprise if its actioned though. Take it up with clubs constitution. I didnt write the damn thing.
It was an attempt at a troll regarding the number of members we have. One that seems is ok.

You wonder why the clubs fans stay on the club bord and cant be bothered anywhere else?

Try actioning the rules equally.

We can have a sense of humour to. As long as we dont get banned for doing the same thing.

Im FAR from convinced this is the case. And that includes pretty much anything that criticises the members, crowds, or establishment of the club.
Criticism is fine. As long as its not like a troll. If its ok great. But apply evenly

BLK went broke partly thanks to unprofitable sponsorship of sports teams: administrators PPB

http://www.couriermail.com.au/busin...b/news-story/c64747741637ea44159a35ab0fc4acd2

FOOTBALL jersey maker BLK financially crumbled partly thanks to an overinvestment in unprofitable sponsorships of sports teams, according to administrators of the Gold Coast-based outfit.

Creditors, including the above professional teams, are owed almost $34 million. The Gold Coast Suns even initially were listed as owed $74,000, but later claimed it was $236,000.

“The cost of goods sold for the business has been steadily increasing, despite the decline in sales beginning in fiscal 2016. This appears to be at least partially attributable to the focus management has placed on pursuing professional sponsorships, which require the business to provide sportswear to major sporting teams free of charge,” PPB said.

Hooking up major teams would secure the rights to sell licensed merchandise to the public. “It was also hoped that this strategy would boost brand awareness, leading to an increase in general teamwear sales,” PPB said.

******

A couple of key paragraphs here from the above article. Sounds like their strategy of signing up pro clubs to increase their brand awareness for local teams backfired big time.

Apparently they also still have a bunch of inventory in stock going back as far as 2014.

Carltank was allowed for years before they tidied up stupid club nicknames like that on the main board a while back.

The way to get even here isn't to whinge, it's to rub the inevitable flag you win in the next few years into the faces of your enemies in the most thorough yet forum legal way possible.

Getting upset at cracks about member numbers is pointless because even if you have 25000 members, you wont compete with the bigger clubs in terms of membership anytime soon.

Pick your battlefield and win there. There's no point getting into a fight where the only way you can win is to sook about how mods interpret rules.
