What do you prefer to see more?

I love seeing people get rejected, it's a great skill and it's not as easy as dunking which makes it better imo. Mourning, B.Wallace, Mutombo etc. are players i love seeing play cause of that aspect of the game.

NBL I much prefer seeing dunks because they're as rare as hens teeth. Says a lot about the game when you only see 2 or 3 dunks a game.

NBA I much prefer seeing players like Wallace and Howard swatting the shit out of the ball. My personal favourite is Mutombo though, you just have to love the finger waving.

age old question, why arent there more dunks like those you see in the nba, in the nbl? is it the different rules? is it the different sized court (less space)?

No defensive 3 seconds!!!!

I like winning. Altering shots is far more important to a team than dunks. Best dunks are worth only two points. Dunks in the half court impress me more than showy fast break dunks.

Gonna sound like a complete basketball n00b (which i'm not) here, but IMO dunks have to be the most exciting part for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a big swat, but when you see someone go up for a monster jam in a close game, the crowd erupts.

Sure, the crowd would erupt for a game saving block, but not in the same way as a dunk.

Blocks. Watching Mourning swat people is still my favourite part of basketball.

And listen to teh noise it makes when he swats Josh Smith

Blocks. I love seeing the get that out of here expressions on the players face after he blocks and it's awesome when big guys absolutely pwn little Guards. I still remember this 1 block Shaq did on Earl Boykins he nearly squashed his whole head he got down that low.

I do love seeing a good explosive dunk though like the old ones from the FT line and MJ ones. I prefer conjested dunks than breakaways though.

shots that get blocked off the backboard are my favourite for sure.

i'm not tall or athletic enough to do it on a regular basis (who around here is???) but i've done it a few times over my career and it's quite satisfying.

also the extremely rare "blocks" where a player just snatches the ball out of the air are awesome, that's definitely something i've never done.

Josh Smith!!!

He can do both.

Man watching that just makes me bummed out that Atlanta didn't take CP3 when they had the chance.

Could you imagine watching CP3, Joe Johnson and Josh Smith all playing in the one team? They probably wouldn't have got Horford though, but still... they'd be a force in the East and Josh Smith would be averaging about 30ppg... 20 of it in dunks.
