Is Hopper under contract?
The word depth is being thrown around way too much around this place.I would be happy with one of Hopper/Kennedy to pair up with Cripps, one of Balic/Miles for depth. Highly doubt we would take all four!
Yeah he would mate. A fit Hopper is already in GWS's best 22.Would Hopper be in our best 22 from day 1 ?serious question , haven't seen much of him ..

Part 1 :-
Part 2 :- (talks about Sticks in Part 2)
this water into wine hyperbole about any random GWS kid immediately sneaking past Cripps, Ed Curnow, Gibbs and Murphy is premature. No he wouldn't, but would be a massive upgrade on our 4th best mid
In most of our fans eyes Crippa came first its just that he got ripped off from a couple of carlton haters ..

Disagree, he'd be 5th or 6th, but the important thing is that he will play a predominantly inside role.No he wouldn't, but would be a massive upgrade on our 4th best mid
not all depth is spudsThe word depth is being thrown around way too much around this place.
Yes , i remember the exact words ..Oh no it was purely because Hogan was a KPF which is a harder position to play .. remember the narrative?
Of course, now that we have our very own super talented ultra contested KPF vying for the award against a couple of flankers and back pockets getting cheapies each week, that narrative no longer seems to count.
Bullshit media award.

Pretty much, yeahCripps, Murphy, Gibbs, Ed, (SPS?) then Hopper?
Agreed, I'm not sure what else Miles could be long term though.. He is a good contested player but turns the ball over. Balic may well be best 22 for years to come but at worst provides valuable depth, which is fine considering we wouldn't be giving up that much. We need 30-32 quality players by the time we are ready for a flag assault.Exactly. You don't ever trade for "depth", it's a by-product of recruiting better top end talent. You bring in top end talent to push fringe players back out of the 22.
e.g. Bring in Plowman to push out White.
