Getting rid of Charlie was never easy, but what a ****ing job Austin and Co have done this trade period. Absolutely phenomenal job.

Everything this club actually needed they've basically addressed and always weeded out the players that would've held our footy culture back.

Very ****ing proud Blue Bagger right here.

Got a 2027 1st but gave up 31 + 42 + 2027 2nd.

Think we are being blinded by that 2027 1st. Its not going to be a great pick and we gave alot back to the Swans for it.

Not a shocking deal but not great either.

That said we got overs for 22. So you could argue its really 22 + 2027 F2+ 10 for 2027 F1 + 43 + 9.

Thats once you strip out Hayward, 11, F1.

Sydney are banking on shooting back up the ladder with a few guys coming back from injury and Curnow coming in. It's a big bet especially when they just offered half their playing list to other clubs. Can't imagine there is a great feeling of goodwill for the club at the moment. They probably play finals, but it wouldn't shock me if things simply don't like up for them.

This deal could be a cracker for the Blues.

Garbage. Left it too late to use this years first to be of any use to us. Using it for matching picks is terrible. Should have held him for a year.

I'd be assuming those Picks will help with Dean, ison and Walker in due course. Charlie is now the past these three are our future.

Even now describing it just as “three firsts” is missing the point - it’s really three pick upgrades. But they’re decent upgrades.

And look, it COULD happen… if Swans get struck my injuries, Cox stinks and they have a shocker in the next few years… we benefit.

I don’t usually wish the Swans any harm, but now I hope the wheels just utterly fall off.
