Rumour Bluemour File *rumours only - NO DISCUSSION*

Yes, as promised this is the all new bright and shiny Rumour ... or should I say Bluemour File.

This thread is for Carlton related rumours only.

No discussion about the rumour will take place in here. Instead we will have a Bluemour Discussion thread.

We urge all bluemour mongerers to post #bluemour with their rumours to alert posters to its presence. By all means copy and paste it in the discussion thread as well so people can ask questions and dissect your information.

This way we maintain a nice clean thread with nothing but rumours for those who don't want to search for the inside word, and everybody still gets to talk about it in another thread.

I know it's tempting to extract the urine in this thread. Please don't. We are trying to find ways to please everybody and don't want to have to moderate more than we need to.

I'm putting this 'rumour' in here not because I believe that there is a skerrick of truth in it but because I heard it yesterday when I had to attend a business meeting, I put less credence than usual on such stuff because it came from the mouth of a Collingwood Director. Apparently - Ross Lyon is heading to Carlton as the next coach next year.o_O

Don't shoot me/:(

#Blumour regarding Kreuzer's contract renewal:
This will go well beyond the first few rounds of the year. Both parties are happy to wait, however the longer it goes on, and if Kreuzer starts to perform, more $$$ will come his way. With the amount of money that has been thrown his way right now, if he stays I will love him forever. He is a loyal man from my dealings with him...

I had a few beers with an ex GWS board member last week, his term finished up last year. Now I never bought into the hype that Boyd was destined for Carlton with the handshake agreement crap but the board were firmly in the view that he would be at Carlton in the near future, again no agreement between the clubs however they did know that was actually his preferred choice. The request to trade to the doggies completely caught them by surprise, they were stunned and didn't know what to do.

Please can we sticky this thread? Its potentially one of the most important but disappears from the top of the page very quickly as its not regularly posted on (which is a good thing).

Please delete this comment once a mod has considered my request ;)

BF has a 3-4 sticky policy. We currently have 7. The thread links are in the stickied important threads thread.

Have heard multiple times recently Roos to replace Malthouse next year.
Find this hard to believe personally but can assure you all this comes from people who would have some idea of what is going on at the club, though of course nothing is necessarily set in stone and these things can change. But from what I heard, and from who it comes from, certainly it would appear this has been discussed to a fairly serious extent.

Rumour as fact, (from the horses mouth), Daniel Talia received a phone call from Wayne Hughes the night before the draft telling him that we were going to select him with pick 12 at the draft. Ratts overruled that decision 1 hour before the draft and we ended up selecting Lucas. Talia never received a phone call from Hughes explaining why!!! :(:(:( Henderson and Talia in the one year WOWEEE...

Thought I better drop this here, as I originally posted it in the discussion thread, as I wasn't aware that this 2nd thread existed.
Not sure if this has been mentioned on a previous page, but just heard a rumour that Mick might pull the pin after breaking Jock's record, citing his wife's health as the reason. As with all rumours, you can put as much weight into it as you like, but with Mick recently missing a NAB game due to his wife's health, this is grounded with a possible element of truth.
Look at it a bit closer too and conspiracy theorists might be able to come up with a scenario where they build up to it, by having Mick miss another game in the next few weeks to be by his wife's side again. The AFL conveniently, or accidentally, stuffed up the dates of Mick's record breaking game by putting it in round 5. If he coaches every game, he will actually break the record in round 4 against Saints in NZ. If he misses a game, he will be back on track to officially break it a week later against the Pies.
I guess we only have 4-5 weeks to find out if there's any substance to it.

Also looks like it might have been given some more legs by this post.

I think Mick will see out this year and retire gracefully. Nanette isn't well and he has been spending more time at home lately delegating roles to his assistants away from match days.

Been a great coach but he looked a defeated person in his press conference last Friday. It wouldn't surprise me if Mick breaks the record and then retires, which has been suggested to me by a senior admin at Carlton I went to Geelong College with.
