With two and a half weeks remaining in Carlton’s pre-Christmas training program, the majority of the Carlton list has returned to the full training program with just six players on refined skills and running programs.

Andrew Walker is continuing his rehabilitation from end of season groin surgery and is currently completing light skills and stride work.

Setanta & Aisake O’hAilpin are both well on their way to recovering from osteitis pubis and and like Walker are both completing light skills and striding programs.

Simon Wiggins continues his recovery from a hamstring injury and is on a walk – jog program, while Dylan McLaren is on a varied program due to back soreness.

Adam Hartlett has returned to full training following tightness in his hamstring and is being closely monitored as he has had trouble with his hamstring over the past couple of seasons.

Anthony Koutoufides has returned to the track, fresh from his Dancing with the Stars victory and is on a revised program as per previous season

This pleases me very much. From what I have seen of Harts I have been very impressed. I really hope his body holds up and he can play some footy for Carlton in 2007.

Yes.

I hope he fully recovers as he is one of my favourites down at the club.

Suffering a calf and hamstring injury since the end of the season is not ideal, hopefully he gets over them and makes an impact.

Do you?

yep.
If its true that he has had two soft tissue injuries in the space of ?? 4 weeks of pre-season training then I suspect that Harts has crossed someone in a previous life, the Gods of football are angry and he should retire, study, do anything but put on football boots.

Still very much a part of our future BB.
I'll just assume you were taking the ********** with that final comment.

Not if his injury trends continues. I feel very sorry for him, considering he's such a hard worker - it'll be horrible if his career is ruined because of his dodgy hamstrings. Hopefully this is the last we here of that, because he sure as hell deserves some luck regarding injuries.

If its true that he has already had TWO soft tissue injuries this pre-season, I think the boys body is telling him something.
Those that have played sports at a state level (any sport) will know kids that were superstars, who due to injuries never made it to the top grades. Your body being able to withstand the rigors of competition at the top level is a small part of what makes the elite truly elite.

My comments regarding him not pulling on footy boots were a bit tongue in cheek, but IF what Jeremias says IS true (re Hammy and calf injury in 6 weeks) then I don't see him having much of a future.........do you?

Please don't take this as I don't like Harts. I think what he represents in terms of potential is awesome..........just not sure I'll ever see that potential realised due to his fragile body.:thumbsu:

players who are coming back from Injuries needs a bit of leeway its a bitg hard to play ya top after coming back from a injury it takes time they got excuses and fit players don't :) its took Kouta ages to get over his Injury least he's been playing every game of late hamstring injuries that wiggins got takes awhile to get right it be a bit nervy for a while

lets have a Injury free year :thumbsu:

he's a class above Livo
