Again, maybe you don't know how Carlton vs. Essendon games work.

Nobody is soft, players get taken away by the spur of the moment. Ask any player to play the game, when you're in an atmosphere such as Carlton/Essendon games, the aura is just amazing. Nobody, especially the players are willing to give an inch to the other team.

Going by your synopsis of the first two rounds, perhaps this could be the first ever game when the ball is bounced and it then just sits on the ground for 120 minutes as neither team will be willing to get the ball?? I better take a good book on Saturday night just in case!

He ain't that soft. And i wouldn't have a problem with him opting out of the odd contest here and there at this stage of his career if it helps to look after his young, physically immature body for the years ahead.

Craig Bradley got criticised for being a receiver, but he played 375 games for us and gave us something in nearly every single one of em. He might not have played that many if he'd gone in for more bash and crash.

We we all know how soft the Blues are can't even make a tackle stick, seems to me they try and tickle the crap out of the opposition. And our so called leaders are a disgrace as well, so on that regards it will be a good game.

Essendon is 4th for tackles and 5th for disposals. That completely contradicts what you just said.
