I am reliably informed that Bedfords Ammo club is Ormond. A once proud amateur suburban club that stood up to the might of the private school old boys big money teams and won many A Grade flags before Old Xavs began their period of dominance.

Yes Ormond is correct Mr Cas, i started there when junior was doing Auskick and i ended up coaching junior sides and now have moved on to the seniors.
Yes they were the power house of the Ammo's until the private schools took over. Seeing that you carn't be paid , what they do is to fill their homes or flats with furniture, pay all the bills and such. In the case of Hailebury they put Stewie Lowe's kids through school for free. Old Xav's a few years ago used to get well over 100 grand sponsorship and where do you think that money went.
