Bobby Lashley gone from WWE?

According to various sites, Lashley has asked for his release from the company

We've been covering the story here all day that Bobby Lashley is leaving World Wrestling Entertainment. New details have come out regarding why Lashley is leaving:

-- One of the factors that lead to his fallout with WWE has to do with the way his girlfriend Kristal Marshall was treated after refusing to do a storyline that made her feel uncomfortable. She was fired after refusing a storyline that's been described as "racial".

-- Another reason is that Lashley feels disrespected by WWE during his time off. There has been very little communication between Lashley and Vince McMahon in the past few months. Despite the fact that Lashley is fully healed from his injury, there were no firm plans in place to get him back on TV. He found this very frustrating.

At this point, Lashley needs to negotiate an official release from WWE as he is still under contract. He is still listed on the official WWE website and is awaiting his release so he can move on.

It's shocking how they treat some of their wrestlers, after all they're the ones that make the money for the WWE.

I'm going to miss watching Lashley, he was a superstar.

I hope he doesn't leave his my favorite wrestler. I honestly do believe Vince is racist at times. Also the reason Kristal left WWE is because the storyline she asked to do was the one that Vicki Guerrero is doing right now. Her favorite wrestlers of all time was Lita but she was disappointed how she ended her career saying that she'll be unfortunately remembered as a **** not the true wrestler she once was. Also anyone remember Orlando Jordan? He was meant to do a bi-sexual storyline with Kelly kelly but OMG I can see why he left after. Vince and the creative team have to stop being so radical with their story line's really disappointing IMO.

It's been said that Orlando Jordan was released because he kept bringing his boyfriend backstage even after he was asked not to. Sounds reasonable but when you think what goes on backstage it does seem like they just aren't minority friendly in the WWE.

Yeah but before she was Kelly Kelly she was Barbie Blank OVW which was around the same time as Orlando Jordan. Also another point WWE need to hire decent writers because the majority of the storylines last year were absolutely pathetic.

As for Lashley, he was a freakish athlete and decent in the ring, but given his complete and utter lack of attitude I couldn't care less. A poor man's face version of Orton (already the Cena reign is looking like the "Golden Era" comparatively ).
