Some interesting quotes on the Bombers board... seems they are worried about us on Sat night?? here's just one below....

It's funny that last week I felt 99% confident that we would beat the Lions, and told everyone to tip us, yet this week I have that funny feeling in my gut that would suggest otherwise. Hopefully a 10 goal first quarter to us will ease the butterfly's :D :o

doubt it. Our only chance is to run them off their legs, if the midfield is split 50/50 or in their favour they'll trounce us with their stronger spine

Lloyd is the main man.

He dominates, they win.

We control him somehow, we can definitely challenge. :thumbsu:
Pretty close to the mark .

As much as Gaspar has shat me over the years , this is one game where he would have been handy .

Lloyd and the bombers are the closest thing to a one man side the AFL has these days

The Bombers will be more concerned going in than we will because with our season stillborn we are just playing for pride whereas they have a competitive interest in the season and a legit chance of the 8 and need to be beating easybeat teams like Richmond unquestionably are.

I actually fancy us for the first time since round 3 against the Pies since Essendon are in truth no good and should not be in finals.

Hey, we are not as arrogant as everyone says.

The facts are that Richmond are knocking on the door for a win and it would be just like the Bombers to open the door "who is it? oh it's you Richo (kent)".
Essendon has started favourite in three games at the G' this year and have lost all of them.
If the boys take this game lightly then an upset is on the cards. A bit of rain and a 9-10 goal game would help you guys, a shoot out would have to be in our favour.

He won't dominate, but i think he'll get about 4, i think Lucas will step up this week though so he might add another 4 aswell.

I'm not too worried about Lucas, I think Bowden can stitch him up.

But with our side for tomorrow night I see Thursfield doing ok on leads but Lloyd being far too strong in a contest.

It'll be interesting.
