Foley and Lids joint captains. Bowden and Johnson given the flick, though they may just be in our best 22 they will be delaying the development and the future of the team.

Talk of making Cotchin captain in a couple of years is just plain stupid. Let the kid develop first and see if he has grown into the role. I would prefer to see him become a dominant player first with a pre-season under his belt.

Strongly agree, the youngsters need someone with a bit of experience and smarts running around with them.
I think we "should" be a stronger and more confident unit in 2009 with Bowden in the team.
