What we saw from Bower last year was really promising stuff wasn't it?
And could you imagine the year he might have had if he didn't injure his shoulder?

From what I saw from him last year when performing both as a 3rd tall/attacking flanker was a nice thing to see. But what was even more impressive was when he was taking on the likes of Travis Cloke (one of the real reasons why we beat Collingwood for the second time last year) and Buddy Franklin, big power forwards, were some real reasons to smile about the potential this guy has.
I believe he can fill the CHB role for us and be a star, starting from this year onwards. Otherwise if you disagree and would like him playing as a 3rd tall, where he can use his run a little bit more, I will relent very slightly and say from next year onwards, as he may or may not be still a little bit undersized to take on big power forwards week in, week out this year.
And of course, having Bower at CHB means you can release Waite to anywhere from other roles in defence, or the midfield or forward line.
One of the things I will watch with interest on against North in 8 days time will be which role he plays.
Discuss.

5 years ago we couldnt say that and our future looked bleak, how time changes things, and now having good people running the club. Our future is very bright.
