Dick is the sort of player who will prosper against us. Let us hope he does not play against us.

Thanks for the update.I'm often asked by Pie fans how Brad Dick is. Good news, he is about to resume playing:
Injury-prone forward Brad Dick is expected to make his long-awaited comeback from a knee reconstruction in just over a fortnight.
WAFL sources have confirmed Dick has been pencilled in to play his first game of the year - most likely in the reserves - for original club East Fremantle against South Fremantle at Fremantle Oval on June 4.
The forecast return on the renamed WA Day public holiday will come almost 12 months to the day since Dick ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament playing for Collingwood's VFL team.
West Coast have remained patient with the 23-year-old since selecting him with pick No.68 in last year's rookie draft after Dick was de-listed by Collingwood.
The goalsneak has spent the past five months since being redrafted to a second AFL club steadily building his fitness base and increasing his training load.
The Eagles would prefer to ease the livewire's transition back into senior football by playing him with East Fremantle's reserves for at least the first week.
The former Magpie showed he was more than capable of being a danger near goal in booting 22 goals from 16 matches during the 2009 season. That promise has been cruelled by two shoulder and two knee reconstructions that left his AFL career in serious jeopardy.

When was the election that made you leader?
And FTR, i'd rather brad break his leg than kick the winning goal against us.
You should never wish an injury on someone. I still enjoy watching ex collingwood players and I even barrack for them to some extent. I have enjoyed the post Collingwood careers of Shaw, Scotland, Illes, Stanley and many other former players. If Collingwood cant keep them I always hope they can become stars at other Clubs. McCathy is looking the goods at Port this year as well.
Can't say I'd be too devastated if he continued his current form, or even worse, at Carlton. But what if Cloke goes to Carlton![]()

Um what? He's clearly on the way back. Like he said he's 24 and he's still got a lot of footy ahead of him.
Can't wait to see him back in a pie jumper kicking bags.
Changing your user name might be a more realistic option than waiting for Dick to return to the Pies. Or you could have: 'Gone_Brad_Dick_Gone'. The Chief will let you change your name for $20 if you grovel before him. He's clearly on the way back. Like he said he's 24 and he's still got a lot of footy ahead of him.

That's good for Swan DistrictsBrad will be back in the black and white soon enough.. ala Chris Tarrant.
Look out..
You may want him promoted but not this season while they have a chance of playing us. Next season maybe.I'd take Dicky back in a heartbeat, but he's a quality bloke as well as a quality player so I can't see him dogging the Eagles after they took a risk on him.
Hopefully he gets promoted to the senior list very soon.
He'll be back.
He's Collingwood.
Why??? He left Collingwood for the same opportunity back at home in WA. We offered to rookie him, but he wanted to go home. Why would he come back to Melbourne? I know you like the guy, but you have to be realistic. There is more WA in him than there is Collingwood.
I love watching him play. Without doubt the most enthusiastic player I've ever seen. Great attitude. I hope his body hangs in there, and he achieves a career in football.
On a similar topic, does anyone have any info on how Leon Davis has gone in the WAFL this year?? I haven't heard anything.
Brad will be back mark my words.. He knew it was going to be a tough few years getting back and thought it would be best done at home.
Leon had a solid year in the WAFL. avg about 20pos and 1 gl per game, played 17 games.
He'll be fit for a return to Collingwood next year..
Righteo. Maybe Phil Carmen & Peter Moore might come back next year too
