Ken Hinkley to me seems like the ideal replacement, been in the game long enough and across multiple roles. Is aware of modern footy requirements, has worked with Voss previously which may be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Is effectively an operations manager looking after the core product, football. Overseas everything to do with performing on the field.. Portfolio would be AFL, VFL, AFLW, High Performance, Medical & List Management & Recruiting.

Under Brad Lloyds tenure
AFL - fail, has over seen 3 unsuccessful coaches in Bolton, Teague & Voss.. Made a prelim and scraped into 8th.
VFL - Fail, never built a side to support the AFL
AFLW - Fail, 2019 made the gf and been a disaster since
High Performance - Andrew Russell.. enough said
Medical - Fail, consistently amongst the leagues longest injury list.
List Managment & Recruiting - Fail, missed the trends for modern football, never replaced Eddie Betts as a small forward, no running half back and a team full of the same types who cant kick..

That he has remained employed for this long is astonishing.

No idea how he even survived the last cull. It's absolutely damning when you see that his role encompasses the womens program, list management, high performance, medical, coaching, operations and wellbeing. How are we going across all of those areas? Deadset joke.

It’s been clear for years he’s not up to running a well functioning football department but that might not be the bigger issue at this point which is why he’s been allowed to hang around for so long?

Not only that but someone or multiple people within our club are running a protection racket around him. When was the last time he fronted the media or addressed the members? He’s been in hiding since the 2021 review. For all the issues with coach and players, they at least front the media regularly and cop some heat that they deserve. This guy is in hiding and the club has enabled and supported it.

Wright needs to walk him out of the building and whoever has been protecting him from accountability can go too.
