Apparantly he has just signed a new 2 year deal....what a load of Sh*t

He has massivley underperformed for the last two years and we are offering him another 2 years. 1 year should of been easily enough for a player who can hardly get his hands on the ball anymore, cannot kick, has failed back and forward, lacks confidence and lacks footy smarts

I thought we were heading in the right direction with Bailey however this decision really confuses me, i also belive we could of got more out of the johnstone deal maybe a late pick, hopefully dean proves me wrong

We all know that Miller at his best is a great player. ND failed to get the best out of Miller however. By throwing him back and forward as well as instructing him to be less agressive ND confused the kid, he lost confidence and we all know what the last couple seasons have been like.

Bailey is a teaching coach, he will get the best out of Miller, I'm confident of that. When Miller recaptures his confidence he will again be a very good player for us.

i doubt bailey is going to be able to teach him how to kick (his biggest problem) after all these years, miller simply doesnt have the talent to be effective by foot.

His not good enough to play CHF or CHB, and with carroll looking to be offloaded i belive Bailey also wants to replace him at FB with Miller next year.

Im not just gonna throw the boots into Bails yet, Im confident in his decsion to keep Miller. Even tho i was confused by it initally.
If we can leave him at either CHB or CHF (one noe both) and try and get him to play some consistent football, he and the dees could be on the up very soon.

There is only one word that describes Dean Bailey and Brad Miller at this current time and that is "CLOWNS". Brad Miller getting 2 years has got to be one of the most ridiculous things i have seen at the Melbourne Football club for a long long time. As one of you have stated already He cannot Kick, and most importantly he cannot take a mark out in front i.e Contested Mark!!!! That in itself is cause for alarm. Im trying my absolute best not too judge bailey just yet but im finding it bloody hard not too.

The problem for Frosty was getting reported and suspended in 2005. He did it twice in the space of a few months and everyone came down hard on him for it. Ever since then he has gone backwards. Playing in a different position every week hasn't helped either.

We know his weaknesses (kicking!!) but he is a leader at the club. He does work very hard on the field even if his output has been poor. Having said that I'll back Bailey to help him turn it around.

Whilst Miller hasn't been great the past couple of seasons, I think he's worth some more time. Much better to persist with him than to trade him for some mid-range pick in a weak draft.
Sure, kicking isn't a strong point, but other than that he's got a number of attributes which point to him being a good KPP. Hopefully he gets a great pre-season in and finally lives up to all the tags that have been placed on him.

I'm not prepared to judge Bailey yet. He is an outsider coming to our club. He sees that Miller is a 24 year old key position player, who has shown a bit of promise early on but has struggled to cement a spot in the side. Of course Bailey wants to have a chance to see what he can do with Miller.

omg miller is nothing and we could have given him 1 year to see what would happen or try and trade clubs might take him

Miller has never been a good player (never consistent). He has played three or four excellent games playing as a leading/linking CHF.
He's not smart enough to play back and cannot kick well enough to play forward.
I just don't see a posi for him, I hope I'm dead wrong.
I would have taken something from the Swanny's for him myself...... or maybe a one year contract, just long enough to see if he can get back that agro and confidence he had going for a while. Good luck Mil....prove us all wrong

Was I the only person who thought he wasn't even that good in that game, he just led up, got the ball and then managed to give it straight back to freo.
I was calling for 426 to CHF.
